Jesus answered him, Thou wouldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath greater sin.

Jesusª answered,ª° Thou¹ couldest haveª° no²¹ powerª [at all] againstª² me,ª except²¹¹ it wereª° givenª° thee²¹ from above:ª thereforeªª he that deliveredª° meª unto thee²¹ hathª° the greaterª sin.ª

Iesusª answered,ª° Thou¹ couldest haueª° no²¹ powerª at all againstª² me,ª except²¹¹ it wereª° giuenª° thee²¹ from aboue:ª therforeªª he that deliueredª° meª vnto thee,²¹ hathª° the greaterª sinne.ª

Jeshu saith to him, Thou against ME hast no power, no not any, unless it hath been given to thee from above: wherefore he who delivered me to thee hath a sin greater than thine.

Jesus said to him: Thou wouldst have no authority at all over me, if it were not given to thee from on high: therefore his sin who delivered me up to thee, is greater than thine.

ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς Οὐκ εἶχες ἐξουσίαν κατ' ἐμοῦ οὐδεμίαν εἰ μὴ ἦν δεδομένον σοι ἄνωθεν: διὰ τοῦτο ὁ παραδούς μέ σοι μείζονα ἁμαρτίαν ἔχει.

It-was-separated-off unto-it an-Iesous, Not thou-was-holding to-a-being-out-unto down of-ME to-not-moreover-one if lest it-was having-had-come-to-be-given unto-thee up-unto-which-from. Through to-the-one-this the-one having-had-given-beside to-me unto-thee to-more-great to-an-un-adjusting-along-unto it-holdeth.
