And he said, How can I, except some one shall guide me? And he besought Philip to come up and sit with him.

Andª he¹ said,ª°¹ Howª² can¹¹ I,²²° exceptª some manª should guideª° me?ª Andª he desiredª° Philipª that he would come upª° and sitª° withª him.ª

Andª hee¹ said,ª°¹ Howª² can¹¹ I,²²° exceptª some manª should guideª° me?ª Andª he desiredª° Philip,ª that hee would come vp,ª° and sitª° withª him.ª

And he said, How can I understand, unless one teach me? And he prayed of him, of Philipos, to ascend and sit with him.

And he said: How can I understand, unless some one instruct me? And he requested of Philip, that he would come up and sit with him.

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν Πῶς γὰρ ἂν δυναίμην ἐὰν μή τις ὁδηγήσει με; παρεκάλεσέν τε τὸν Φίλιππον ἀναβάντα καθίσαι σὺν αὐτῷ.

The-one moreover it-had-said, Unto-whither therefore ever I-may-able if-ever lest a-one it-shall-way-lead-unto to-me? It-called-beside-unto also to-the-one to-a-Filippos to-having-had-stepped-up, to-have-sat-down-to together unto-it.
