And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Thenª Paulª andª Barnabasª waxed bold,ª° and said,ª° It wasª° necessaryª that the¹ wordª of Godª should²° firstª have been spokenª° to you:ª butª seeingª ye put²° it² from you,ª°¹ andª judgeª° yourselvesª unworthyªª of everlastingª life,ª lo,ª° we turnª° toª the¹ Gentiles.ª

Thenª Paulª andª Barnabasª waxed bold,ª° and said,ª° It wasª° necessaryª that the¹ wordª of Godª should²° firstª haue bene spokenª° to you:ª butª seeingª yee put²° it² from you,ª°¹ andª iudgeª° your seluesª vnworthyªª of euerlastingª life,ª loe,ª° we turneª° toª the¹ Gentiles.ª

But Paulos and Bar Naba said to them openly, To you it behoved first to speak the word of Aloha; but because you repel it from you, and determine against yourselves that you are not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

And Paul and Barnabas said openly: To you first, ought the word of God to be spoken; but because ye repel it from you, and decide, against yourselves, that ye are not worthy of life eternal, lo, we turn ourselves to the Gentiles.

παρρησιασάμενοί τε ὁ Παῦλος καὶ ὁ Βαρνάβας εἶπαν Ὑμῖν ἦν ἀναγκαῖον πρῶτον λαληθῆναι τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ: ἐπειδὴ ἀπωθεῖσθε αὐτὸν καὶ οὐκ ἀξίους κρίνετε ἑαυτοὺς τῆς αἰωνίου ζωῆς, ἰδοὺ στρεφόμεθα εἰς τὰ ἔθνη:

Having-all-uttered-to, also the-one a-Paulos and the-one a-Barnabas, they-said, Unto-ye it-was up-arm-belonged to-most-before to-have-been-spoken-unto to-the-one to-a-forthee of-the-one of-a-Deity; upon-if-then ye-push-off-unto to-it and not to-deem-belonged ye-separate to-selves of-the-one of-aged-belonged of-a-lifing, thou-should-have-had-seen, we-be-beturned into to-the-ones to-nations;
