And I said, Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:

And Iª said,ª° Lord,ª theyª knowª° thatª Iª imprisonedªª°° andª beatª° in every² synagogueª¹ them that believedª° onª thee:ª

And Iª said,ª° Lord,ª theyª knowª° thatª Iª imprisoned,ªª°° andª beatª° in euery² synagogueª¹ them that beleeuedª° onª thee.ª

And I said, My Lord, they know also how I delivered to the house of the bound, and smote in all the synagogues, those who have believed in thee.

And I said: My Lord, they well know that I have delivered up to prison, and have scourged in all synagogues, those who believed in thee.

κἀγὼ εἶπον Κύριε, αὐτοὶ ἐπίστανται ὅτι ἐγὼ ἤμην φυλακίζων καὶ δέρων κατὰ τὰς συναγωγὰς τοὺς πιστεύοντας ἐπὶ σέ:

And-I I-had-said, Authority-belonged, them they-stand-upon to-which-a-one I I-was guarding-to and swiping down to-the-ones to-leadings-together to-the-ones to-trusting-of upon to-THEE;
