But on the morrow, desiring to know the certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him, and commanded the chief priests and all the council to come together, and brought Paul down and set him before them.

² On¹ the¹ morrow,ª because he wouldª° have knownª° the¹ certaintyª whereforeª he was accusedª° ofª the¹ Jews,ª he loosedª° himª fromª [his] bands,ª andª commandedª° the¹ chief priestsª andª allª their²¹ councilª to appear,ª° andª brought²° Paul² down,ª°¹ and set¹ him²° beforeª them.ª

² On¹ the¹ morrow,ª because he wouldª° haue knowenª° the¹ certaintieª whereforeª he was accusedª° ofª the¹ Iewes,ª he loosedª° himª fromª his bands,ª andª commandedª° the¹ chiefe Priestsª andª allª their²¹ Councillª to appeare,ª° andª brought²° Paul² downe,ª°¹ and set¹ him²° beforeª them.ª

AND the day after he willed to know truly what was the accusation which the Jihudoyee brought against him. And he ordered him and commanded the great priests and all the synagogue of their rulers to come; and he took Paulos and brought (him) down, and stood him among them.

And the next day, he wished to know truly what the accusation was, which the Jews brought against him: and he unbound him, and commanded the chief priests, and the whole company of their head-men, to assemble; and he took Paul, and brought him down, and placed him among them.

Τῇ δὲ ἐπαύριον βουλόμενος γνῶναι τὸ ἀσφαλὲς τὸ τί κατηγορεῖται ὑπὸ τῶν Ἰουδαίων ἔλυσεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐκέλευσεν συνελθεῖν τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ πᾶν τὸ συνέδριον, καὶ καταγαγὼν τὸν Παῦλον ἔστησεν εἰς αὐτούς.

Unto-the-one moreover upon-to-morrow purposing to-have-had-acquainted to-the-one to-un-failed to-the-one to-what-one it-be-gathered-down-unto under of-the-ones of-Iouda-belonged, it-loosed to-it and it-bade-of to-have-had-came-together to-the-ones to-first-sacreders-of and to-all to-the-one to-a-seatlet-together, and having-had-led-down to-the-one to-a-Paulos it-stood into to-them.
