And there arose a great clamor: and some of the scribes of the Pharisees part stood up, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: and what if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?

Andª there aroseª° a greatª cry:ª andª the¹ scribesª [that were] of the¹ Pharisees'ª partª arose,ª° and strove,ª° saying,ª° We findª° noª evilª inª thisª man:ª butª ifª a spiritª orª an angelª hath spokenª° to him,ª let us²° notª fight²° against God.¹

And there was made a great noise. And certain sophree of the choice of the Pharishee arose and contended with them, and said, We have not found any thing of evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken with him, what is there in this?

And there was great vociferation. And some Scribes of the party of the Pharisees rose up, and contended with them, and said. We have found nothing evil in this man: for if a spirit or an angel hath conversed with him, what is there in that?

ἐγένετο δὲ κραυγὴ μεγάλη, καὶ ἀναστάντες τινὲς τῶν γραμματέων τοῦ μέρους τῶν Φαρισαίων διεμάχοντο λέγοντες Οὐδὲν κακὸν εὑρίσκομεν ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ: εἰ δὲ πνεῦμα ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ ἢ ἄγγελος--.

It-had-became moreover a-yelling great, and having-had-stood-up, ones of-the-ones of-letterers-of of-the-one of-a-portion of-the-ones of-Faris-belonged, they-were-battling-through forthing, To-not-moreover-one to-disrupted we-find in unto-the-one unto-a-mankind unto-the-one-this; if moreover a-currenting-to it-spoke-unto unto-it or a-messenger.
