So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and saith, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and asked me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say to thee.

Soª² he¹¹ tookª° him,ª and broughtª° [him] toª the¹ chief captain,ª andª said,ª° Paulª the¹ prisonerª called²° me² unto¹¹ [him], and prayed¹ me²° to bringª° thisª young manª untoª thee,ª who hathª° somethingª to sayª° unto thee.ª

Soª² he¹¹ tookª° him,ª and broughtª° him toª the¹ chiefe captaine,ª andª said,ª° Paulª the¹ prisonerª called²° me² vnto¹¹ him, and praied¹ mee²° to bringª° thisª yong manª vntoª thee,ª who hathª° somethingª to sayª° vnto thee.ª

And the centurion conducted the youth, and introduced him to the tribune, and said, Paulos the prisoner called me, and requested of me to bring this youth to thee, because he hath somewhat to tell thee.

And the centurion took the young man, and introduced him to the Chiliarch, and said: Paul the prisoner called me, and requested me to bring this youth to thee, for he hath something to tell thee.

ὁ μὲν οὖν παραλαβὼν αὐτὸν ἤγαγεν πρὸς τὸν χιλίαρχον καί φησιν Ὁ δέσμιος Παῦλος προσκαλεσάμενός με ἠρώτησεν τοῦτον τὸν νεανίαν ἀγαγεῖν πρὸς σέ, ἔχοντά τι λαλῆσαί σοι.
