But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;

Butª God² be thanked,ª¹ thatª ye wereª° the servantsª of sin,ª butª ye have obeyedª° fromª the heartª that formª of doctrineª¹ whichª² was delivered¹ you.²°

But praise to Aloha that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine to which you have been delivered.
