Thou wilt say then, Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

And perhaps thou wilt say, The branches were cut off, and I in their place am engrafted:

And shouldst thou say, The branches were plucked off, that I might be grafted into their place.

ἐρεῖς οὖν Ἐξεκλάσθησαν κλάδοι ἵνα ἐγὼ ἐνκεντρισθῶ.

Thou-shall-utter accordingly, They-were-out-broken-unto twigs so I I-might-have-been-pricked-in-to.
