For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; or whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Forª whetherª² we¹ live,ª° we liveª° unto the¹ Lord;ª and¹ whetherª² we die,ª° we dieª° unto the¹ Lord:ª¹ whetherª² we liveª° therefore,ª orªª die,ª° we areª° the¹ Lord's.ª

Forª whetherª² we¹ liue,ª° we liueª° vnto the¹ Lord:ª and¹ whetherª² wee die,ª° we dieª° vnto the¹ Lord:ª¹ whetherª² wee liueª° thereforeª orªª die,ª° we areª° the¹ Lords.ª

For if we live, to our Lord we live; and if we die, to our Lord we die: and if we live, then, or if we die, our Lord's are we.

Because, if we live, to our Lord it is we live; or if we die, to our Lord it is we die. Whether we live, therefore, or whether we die, we are our Lord's.

ἐάν τε γὰρ ζῶμεν, τῷ κυρίῳ ζῶμεν, ἐάν τε ἀποθνήσκωμεν, τῷ κυρίῳ ἀποθνήσκομεν. ἐάν τε οὖν ζῶμεν ἐάν τε ἀποθνήσκωμεν, τοῦ κυρίου ἐσμέν.

if-ever also therefore we-might-life-unto, unto-the-one unto-Authority-belonged we-life-unto, if-ever also we-might-die-off, unto-the-one unto-Authority-belonged we-die-off. If-ever also accordingly we-life-unto if-ever also we-die-off, of-the-one of-Authority-belonged we-be.
