Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a dishonor to him?

Dothª not evenª natureª itselfª teachª° you,ª that,ª ifª² a manª have long hair,ª° it isª° a shameª unto him?ª

Does not nature itself teach you, that when a man's hair standeth, it is a disgrace to him?

Doth not nature teach you, that in a man, if his hair groweth long, it is a reproach to him?

οὐδὲ ἡ φύσις αὐτὴ διδάσκει ὑμᾶς ὅτι ἀνὴρ μὲν ἐὰν κομᾷ, ἀτιμία αὐτῷ ἐστίν,
