When I therefore was thus minded, did I show fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay?

When I²° thereforeª was²° thus² minded,ª°¹ did I¹¹ useª²²° lightness?ª orª the things thatª I purpose,ª° do I purposeª° accordingª to the flesh,ª thatª withª meª there should beª° yeaª yea,ª andª nayª nay?ª

This then that I have purposed, have I purposed boastingly? or are they things of the flesh that I purpose, that I should have in them Yes, yes, or No, no?

When therefore I thus purposed, did I purpose as one inconsiderate? Or, were the things I purposed, things of the flesh; so that there should be in them Yes, yes, and No, no?

τοῦτο οὖν βουλόμενος μήτι ἄρα τῇ ἐλαφρίᾳ ἐχρησάμην; ἢ ἃ βουλεύομαι κατὰ σάρκα βουλεύομαι, ἵνα ᾖ παρ' ἐμοὶ τό Ναί ναὶ καὶ τό Οὔ οὔ;

To-the-one-this accordingly purposing to-lest-a-one thus unto-the-one unto-an-easing-unto I-afforded-unto? Or to-which I-purpose-of down to-a-flesh I-purpose-of so it-might-be beside unto-ME the-one, Yea yea, and the-one, Not not?
