But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, so also it is now.

Butª asª thenª he that was bornª° afterª the fleshª persecutedª° him¹ [that was born] afterª the Spirit,ª evenª soª [it is] now.ª

And as then he who was born of the flesh persecuted him who was after the Spirit, so also now.

And as then, he that was born after the flesh, persecuted him [who was born] of the Spirit; so also [is it] now.

ἀλλ' ὥσπερ τότε ὁ κατὰ σάρκα γεννηθεὶς ἐδίωκε τὸν κατὰ πνεῦμα, οὕτως καὶ νῦν.
