And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, [even the word] of God, ye accepted [it] not [as] the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.

For this² causeª¹ alsoª thankª° weª Godª without ceasing,ª because,ª when ye receivedª° the wordª of Godª which ye heard²¹ ofª us,ª ye receivedª° [it] notª [as] the wordª of men,ª butª asª it isª° in truth,ª the wordª of God,ª whichª effectually workethª° alsoª inª youª that believe.ª°

For this² causeª¹ alsoª thankeª° weeª Godª without ceasing,ª becauseª when yee receiuedª° the wordª of God,ª which yee heard²¹ ofª vs,ª yee receiuedª° it notª as the wordª of men,ª butª (asª it isª° in trueth)ª the wordª of God,ª whichª effectually workethª° alsoª inª youª that beleeue.ª°

WHEREFORE we also give thanks constantly unto Aloha, that the word of Aloha which you received from us, was not as the word of man (that) you received (it), but, as it is truly, the word of Aloha, which in operation worketh (alike) in you and in all them who believe.

Therefore also we give thanks unceasingly to God, that the word of God which ye received from us, ye did not receive as the word of men, but as being truly the word of God, which worketh efficiently in you and in them that believe.

Καὶ διὰ τοῦτο καὶ ἡμεῖς εὐχαριστοῦμεν τῷ θεῷ ἀδιαλείπτως, ὅτι παραλαβόντες λόγον ἀκοῆς παρ' ἡμῶν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐδέξασθε οὐ λόγον ἀνθρώπων ἀλλὰ καθὼς ἀληθῶς ἐστὶν λόγον θεοῦ, ὃς καὶ ἐνεργεῖται ἐν ὑμῖν τοῖς πιστεύουσιν.

And through to-the-one-this and we we-goodly-grant-unto unto-the-one unto-a-Deity unto-un-remaindered-through, to-which-a-one having-had-taken-beside to-a-forthee of-a-hearing beside of-us of-the-one of-a-Deity ye-received not to-a-forthee of-mankinds, other down-as unto-un-secluded it-be to-a-forthee of-a-Deity which and it-worketh-in-unto in unto-ye unto-the-ones unto-trusting-of.
