Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.

Take heedª° unto thyself,ª andª unto the¹ doctrine;ª continueª° in them:ª forª in doingª° thisª thou shalt²° bothª saveª° thyself,ª andª them that hearª° thee.ª

And take heed to thyself, and to thy doctrine, and persevere in them; for while these thou doest, thyself wilt thou save, and them who hear thee.

Be attentive to thyself, and to thy teaching; and persevere in them. For in doing this, thou wilt procure life to thyself and to them who hear thee.

ἔπεχε σεαυτῷ καὶ τῇ διδασκαλίᾳ: ἐπίμενε αὐτοῖς: τοῦτο γὰρ ποιῶν καὶ σεαυτὸν σώσεις καὶ τοὺς ἀκούοντάς σου.

thou-should-hold-upon unto-thyself and unto-the-one unto-a-spoken-teaching-unto thou-should-stay-upon unto-them; to-the-one-this therefore doing-unto and to-thyself thou-shall-save and to-the-ones to-hearing of-thee.
