Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

harden not your hearts unto the angering of him, as (did) the embitterers, and as the day of temptation in the desert,

harden not your hearts to anger him, like the provocators, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

μὴ σκληρύνητε τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν ὡς ἐν τῷ παραπικρασμῷ, κατὰ τὴν ἡμέραν τοῦ πειρασμοῦ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ,

lest ye-might-stiffen to-the-ones to-hearts of-ye as in unto-the-one unto-a-bittering-beside-of down to-the-one to-a-day of-the-one of-a-piercing-of in unto-the-one unto-solituded,
