For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after [the city] which is to come.

For we have no city which is permanent here; but one that is to come we are expecting.

οὐ γὰρ ἔχομεν ὧδε μένουσαν πόλιν, ἀλλὰ τὴν μέλλουσαν ἐπιζητοῦμεν:

not therefore we-hold unto-which-moreover to-staying to-a-city, other to-the-one to-impending we-seek-upon-unto;
