Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

Likewise,ª ye younger,ª submit yourselvesª° unto the elder.ª Yea,ª allª [of you] be subjectª° one to another,ª and¹ be clothed²° with¹ humility:ª forª Godª resistethª° the proud,ª andª givethª° graceª to the humble.ª

Likewiseª ye yonger,ª submit your seluesª° vnto the elder:ª yea,ª allª [of you] bee subiectª° one to another,ª and¹ bee clothed²° with¹ humilitie:ª forª Godª resistethª° the proud,ª andª giuethª° graceª to the humble.ª

And you younger, be subject to your presbyters, and be clothed carefully with humility of mind towards one another; because Aloha is against those who exalt themselves, and to the humble he giveth grace.

And ye juniors submit yourselves to your seniors; and clothe yourselves, stringently, with lowliness of mind one towards another; because God resisteth them who exalt themselves, and giveth grace to the humble.

Ὁμοίως, νεώτεροι, ὑποτάγητε πρεσβυτέροις. Πάντες δὲ ἀλλήλοις τὴν ταπεινοφροσύνην ἐγκομβώσασθε, ὅτι [ὁ] θεὸς ὑπερηφάνοις ἀντιτάσσεται ταπεινοῖς δὲ δίδωσιν χάριν.

Unto-along-belonged, more-new, ye-should-have-had-been-arranged-under unto-more-eldered. All moreover unto-one-to-other to-the-one to-a-lowed-centeredness ye-should-have-en-knotted-in, to-which-a-one [the-one] a-Deity unto-manifested-over it-ever-a-one-arrangeth, unto-lowed moreover it-giveth to-a-granting.
