By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account [him], I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand ye fast therein.

Byª Syluanusª a faithfullª brotherª vnto you,ª (asª I suppose)ª° I haue writtenª° briefly,ªª exhorting,ª° &ª testifying,ª° that thisª isª° the trueª graceª of Godª whereinªª ye stand.ª°

These few, as I consider, I have written to you by the hands of Silvanos, a faithful brother; and I persuade and testify, that this is the true grace of Aloha, this wherein you stand.

These as I account [them] few [things], I have written to you by Sylvanus, a faithful brother. And I would persuade, and would testify, that this is the true grace of God, this in which ye stand.

Διὰ Σιλουανοῦ ὑμῖν τοῦ πιστοῦ ἀδελφοῦ, ὡς λογίζομαι, δι' ὀλίγων ἔγραψα, παρακαλῶν καὶ ἐπιμαρτυρῶν ταύτην εἶναι ἀληθῆ χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ: εἰς ἣν στῆτε.

Through of-a-Silouanos unto-ye of-the-one of-trusted of-brethrened, as I-forthee-to, through of-little I-scribed, calling-beside-unto and witnessing-upon-unto to-the-one-this to-be to-un-secluded to-a-granting of-the-one of-a-Deity, into to-which ye-might-have-had-stood.
