And we have the word of prophecy [made] more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:

We haveª° alsoª a more sureª wordª of prophecy;ª whereuntoª ye doª° wellª that ye take heed,ª° asª unto a lightª that shinethª° inª a darkª place,ª untilª² the¹ dayª dawn,ª° andª the day starª ariseª° inª yourª hearts:ª

We have that which is sure also, the word of prophecy; that into which you do well to look, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the sun arise in your hearts.

And we have moreover a sure word of prophecy; and ye will do well, if ye look to it as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day shall dawn, and the sun shall arise in your hearts;

καὶ ἔχομεν βεβαιότερον τὸν προφητικὸν λόγον, ᾧ καλῶς ποιεῖτε προσέχοντες ὡς λύχνῳ φαίνοντι ἐν αὐχμηρῷ τόπῳ, ἕως οὗ ἡμέρα διαυγάσῃ καὶ φωσφόρος ἀνατείλῃ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν:

And we-hold to-more-base-belonged to-the-one to-declarer-before-belonged-of to-a-forthee, unto-which unto-seemly ye-do-unto holding-toward as unto-a-luminating-of unto-manifesting in unto-dirtied unto-an-occasion, unto-if-which of-which a-day it-might-have-through-rayed-to, and light-beareed it-might-have-finished-up in unto-the-ones unto-hearts of-ye;
