those (waters) by which the world that then was, again (was covered) with waters, and perished.

[And], by means of these [waters], the world which then was, [being submerged] again perished in the waters.

δι' ὧν ὁ τότε κόσμος ὕδατι κατακλυσθεὶς ἀπώλετο:
