and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Andª ifª we knowª° thatª he hearª° us,ª whatsoeverªª we ask,ª° we knowª° thatª we haveª° the¹ petitionsª thatª we desiredª° ofª him.ª

Andª ifª we knowª° thatª he heareª° vs,ª whatsoeuerªª wee aske,ª° wee knowª° thatª we haueª° the¹ petitionsª thatª wee desiredª° ofª him.ª

And if we are persuaded that he heareth us concerning what we ask from him, we are confident of receiving already the requests that we ask from him.

And if we are persuaded that he heareth us respecting what we ask of him, we are confident of receiving presently the petitions which we asked of him.

καὶ ἐὰν οἴδαμεν ὅτι ἀκούει ἡμῶν ὃ ἐὰν αἰτώμεθα, οἴδαμεν ὅτι ἔχομεν τὰ αἰτήματα ἃ ᾐτήκαμεν ἀπ' αὐτοῦ.

And if-ever* we-had-come-to-see to-which-a-one it-heareth of-us, to-which if-ever we-might-appeal-unto we-had-come-to-see to-which-a-one we-hold to-the-ones to-appealings-to to-which we-had-come-to-appeal-unto off of-it.
