Καὶ τῷ ἀγγέλῳ τῆς ἐν Σάρδεσιν ἐκκλησίας γράψον Τάδε λέγει ὁ ἔχων τὰ ἑπτὰ πνεύματα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἑπτὰ ἀστέρας Οἶδά σου τὰ ἔργα, ὅτι ὄνομα ἔχεις ὅτι ζῇς, καὶ νεκρὸς εἶ.

And unto-the-one unto-a-messenger of-the-one in unto-Sardis' of-a-calling-out-unto thou-should-have-scribed to-the-ones-moreover, It-fortheth, the-one holding to-the-ones to-seven to-currentings-to of-the-one of-a-Deity and to-the-ones to-seven to-stars, I-had-come-to-see of-thee to-the-ones to-works, to-which-a-one to-a-name thou-hold to-which-a-one thou-might-life-unto, and en-deaded thou-be.
