and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome to open the book and the seven seals thereof.

Andª oneª ofª the¹ eldersª saithª° unto me,ª Weepª° not:ª behold,ª° the¹ Lionª¹ ofª²° the¹ tribeª of Juda,ª the¹ Rootª of David,ª hath prevailedª° to openª° the¹ book,ª andª to looseª° the¹ sevenª sealsª thereof.²¹

And one of the presbyters said to me, Weep not; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Jihuda, who is the root of David, hath prevailed. He will open the book and the seven seal thereof.

καὶ εἷς ἐκ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων λέγει μοι Μὴ κλαῖε: ἰδοὺ ἐνίκησεν ὁ λέων ὁ ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ἰούδα, ἡ ῥίζα Δαυείδ, ἀνοῖξαι τὸ βιβλίον καὶ τὰς ἑπτὰ σφραγῖδας αὐτοῦ.

and one out of-the-ones of-more-eldered it-fortheth unto-me, Lest thou-should-sob, thou-should-have-had-seen, it-conquered-unto, the-one a-lion the-one out of-the-one of-a-tribing of-an-Iouda, the-one a-root of-a-Daueid, to-have-opened-up to-the-one to-a-paperlet and to-the-ones to-seven to-seals of-it.
