And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived.

Andª deceivethª° them that dwell²°¹ onª the¹ earthª byª [the means of] those miraclesª whichª he² had powerª°¹ to doª° in the sightª of the¹ beast;ª sayingª° to them that dwellª° onª the¹ earth,ª that they should makeª° an imageª to the¹ beast,ª whichª hadª° the¹ woundª by a sword,ª andª did live.ª°

And he will seduce those who dwell upon earth to the making an image of the beast of prey who had the wound of the sword and lived.

And he seduced them that dwell on the earth, to erect an image to the beast of prey who had the wound from a sword and recovered.

καὶ πλανᾷ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς διὰ τὰ σημεῖα ἃ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ ποιῆσαι ἐνώπιον τοῦ θηρίου, λέγων τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ποιῆσαι εἰκόνα τῷ θηρίῳ ὃς ἔχει τὴν πληγὴν τῆς μαχαίρης καὶ ἔζησεν.

And it-wandereth-unto to-the-ones to-housing-down-unto upon of-the-one of-a-soil through to-the-ones to-signlets-of which it-was-given unto-it to-have-done-unto in-looked of-the-one of-a-beastlet, forthing unto-the-ones unto-housing-down-unto upon of-the-one of-a-soil to-have-done-unto to-a-resemblance unto-the-one unto-a-beastlet which it-holdeth to-the-one to-a-smiting of-the-one of-a-knife and it-lifed-unto.
