 4:1 ¶ Masters, render unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

 4:1 ¶ Masters,º giveºº unto [your] servantsº that which is justº andº equal;º knowingºº thatº yeº alsoº haveºº a Masterº inº heaven.º

 4:2 Continue stedfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;

 4:2 Continueºº in prayer,º and watchºº inº the sameº withº thanksgiving;º

 4:3 withal praying for us also, that God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;

 4:3 Withalº prayingºº alsoºº forº us,º thatº Godº would openºº unto usº a doorº of utterance,º to speakºº theº mysteryº of Christ,º forº whichº I amºº alsoº in bonds:ººº

 4:4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

 4:4 Thatº I may makeºº itº manifest,ººº asº Iº oughtºº to speak.ºº

 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

 4:5 Walkºº inº wisdomº towardº them that are without,º redeemingºº theº time.º

 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.

 4:6 Let yourº speechº [be] alwayº withº grace,º seasonedºº with salt,º that ye may knowºº howº yeº oughtºº to answerºº everyº man.ºº

 4:7 All my affairs shall Tychicus make known unto you, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord:

 4:7 Allº myº stateºº shallºº Tychicusº declareºº unto you,º [who is] a belovedº brother,º andº a faithfulº ministerº andº fellowservantº inº the Lord:º

 4:8 whom I have sent you for this very purpose, that ye may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts;

 4:8 Whomº I have sentºº untoº youº forº the sameº purpose,ºº thatº he might knowºº yourº estate,ºº andº comfortºº yourº hearts;º

 4:9 together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things that [are done] here.

 4:9 Withº Onesimus,º a faithfulº andº belovedº brother,º whoº isºº [one] ofº you.º They shall make knownºº unto youº all thingsº whichº [are done] here.º

 4:10 Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (touching whom ye received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him),

 4:10 Aristarchusº myº fellowprisonerº salutethºº you,º andº Marcus,º sister's sonº to Barnabas,º (touchingº whomº ye receivedºº commandments:º ifº he comeºº untoº you,º receiveºº him;)º

 4:11 and Jesus that is called Justus, who are of the circumcision: these only [are my] fellow-workers unto the kingdom of God, men that have been a comfort unto me.

 4:11 Andº Jesus,º whichº is calledºº Justus,º whoº areºº ofº the circumcision.º Theseº onlyº [are my] fellowworkersº untoº theº kingdomº of God,º whichº have beenºº a comfortº unto me.º

 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

 4:12 Epaphras,º whoº is [one] ofº you,º a servantº of Christ,º salutethºº you,º alwaysº labouring ferventlyºº forº youº inº prayers,º thatº ye may standºº perfectº andº completeºº inº allº the willº of God.º

 4:13 For I bear him witness, that he hath much labor for you, and for them in Laodicea, and for them in Hierapolis.

 4:13 Forº I bearºº himº record,ººº thatº he hathºº a greatº zealº forº you,º andº themº [that are] inº Laodicea,º andº themº inº Hierapolis.º

 4:14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas salute you.

 4:14 Luke,º theº belovedº physician,º andº Demas,º greetºº you.º

 4:15 Salute the brethren that are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that is in their house.

 4:15 Saluteºº theº brethrenº which are inº Laodicea,º andº Nymphas,º andº theº churchº which is inº hisº house.º

 4:16 And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.

 4:16 Andº whenº this epistleº is readºº amongº you,º causeºº thatº it be readºº alsoº inº theº churchº of the Laodiceans;ºº andº thatº yeººº likewiseº readºº theº [epistle] fromº Laodicea.º

 4:17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

 4:17 Andº sayºº to Archippus,º Take heedºº to theº ministryº whichº thou hast receivedººº inº the Lord,º thatº thou fulfilºº it.º

 4:18 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.
