 2:1 Koh ämar y'hwäh al-sh'loshäh Pish'ëy môäv w'al-ar'Bääh lo áshiyveNû al-sär'fô atz'môt melekh'-édôm laSiyd

 2:1 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 For x5921 three 7969 transgressions 6588 of Mô´äv מוֹאָב, 4124 and for x5921 four, 702 I will not x3808 turn away 7725 z8686 [the punishment] thereof; because x5921 he burned 8313 z8800 the bones 6106 of the king 4428 of ´Éđôm אֱדוֹם 123 into lime: 7875

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־אֵשׁ בְּמוֹאָב וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנוֹת הַקְּרִיּוֹת וּמֵת בְּשָׁאוֹן מוֹאָב בִּתְרוּעָה בְּקוֹל שׁוֹפָר

 2:2 w'shiLach'Tiy-ësh B'môäv w'äkh'läh ar'm'nôt haQ'riYôt ûmët B'shäôn môäv Bit'rûäh B'qôl shôfär

 2:2 But I will send 7971 z8765 a fire 784 upon Mô´äv מוֹאָב, 4124 and it shall devour 398 z8804 the palaces 759 of Kæriyyôŧ קְרִיּוֹת: 7152 and Mô´äv מוֹאָב 4124 shall die 4191 z8804 with tumult, 7588 with shouting, 8643 [and] with the sound 6963 of the trumpet: 7782

וְהִכְרַתִּי שׁוֹפֵט מִקִּרְבָּהּ וְכָל־שָׂרֶיהָ אֶהֱרוֹג עִמּוֹ אָמַר יְהוָה פ

 2:3 w'hikh'raTiy shôfëţ miQir'BäH w'khäl-säreyhä ehérôg iMô ämar y'hwäh f

 2:3 And I will cut off 3772 z8689 the judge 8199 z8802 from the midst 7130 x4480 thereof, and will slay 2026 z8799 all x3605 the princes 8269 thereof with x5973 him, saith 559 z8804 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה פִּשְׁעֵי יְהוּדָה וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָה לֹא אֲשִׁיבֶנּוּ עַל־מָאֳסָם אֶת־תּוֹרַת יְהוָה וְחֻקָּיו לֹא שָׁמָרוּ וַיַּתְעוּם כִּזְבֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר־הָלְכוּ אֲבוֹתָם אַחֲרֵיהֶם

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אֵשׁ בִּיהוּדָה וְאָכְלָה אַרְמְנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם פ

 2:5 w'shiLach'Tiy ësh Biyhûdäh w'äkh'läh ar'm'nôt y'rûshäläim f

הַשֹּׁאֲפִים עַל־עֲפַר־אֶרֶץ בְּרֹאשׁ דַּלִּים וְדֶרֶךְ עֲנָוִים יַטּוּ וְאִישׁ וְאָבִיו יֵלְכוּ אֶל־הַנַּעֲרָה לְמַעַן חַלֵּל אֶת־שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי

וְעַל־בְּגָדִים חֲבֻלִים יַטּוּ אֵצֶל כָּל־מִזְבֵּחַ וְיֵין עֲנוּשִׁים יִשְׁתּוּ בֵּית אֱלֹהֵיהֶם

 2:8 w'al-B'gädiym chávuliym yaŢû ëtzel Käl-miz'Bëªch w'yëyn ánûshiym yish'Tû Bëyt élohëyhem

וְאָנֹכִי הֶעֱלֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם וָאוֹלֵךְ אֶתְכֶם בַּמִּדְבָּר אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה לָרֶשֶׁת אֶת־אֶרֶץ הָאֱמֹרִי

וָאָקִים מִבְּנֵיכֶם לִנְבִיאִים וּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶם לִנְזִרִים הַאַף אֵין־זֹאת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם־יְהוָה

וְתֹפֵשׂ הַקֶּשֶׁת לֹא יַעֲמֹד וְקַל בְּרַגְלָיו לֹא יְמַלֵּט וְרֹכֵב הַסּוּס לֹא יְמַלֵּט נַפְשׁוֹ

 2:15 w'tofës haQeshet lo yaámod w'qal B'rag'läyw lo y'maLëţ w'rokhëv haŠûš lo y'maLëţ naf'shô

 2:15 Neither x3808 shall he stand 5975 z8799 that handleth 8610 z8802 the bow; 7198 and [he that is] swift 7031 of foot 7272 shall not x3808 deliver 4422 z8762 [himself]: neither x3808 shall he that rideth 7392 z8802 the horse 5483 deliver 4422 z8762 himself. 5315

וְאַמִּיץ לִבּוֹ בַּגִּבּוֹרִים עָרוֹם יָנוּס בַּיּוֹם־הַהוּא נְאֻם־יְהוָה פ

 2:16 w'aMiytz liBô BaGiBôriym ärôm yänûš BaYôm-hahû n'um-y'hwäh f

 2:16 And [he that is] courageous 533 3820 among the mighty 1368 shall flee away 5127 z8799 naked 6174 in that x1931 day, 3117 saith 5002 z8803 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068
