1 Against oppression. 4 A lamentation. 7 A reproof of injustice and idolatry. 12 A promise of restoring Jacob.

 2:3 Therefore 3651 thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, “Behold 2009, I am planning 2803 against 5921 this 2088 family 4940 a calamity 7463a From which 834 you cannot 3808 remove 4185 your necks 6677; And you will not walk 1980 haughtily 7317, For it will be an evil 7463a time 6256.

 2:4 “On that day 3117 they will take 5375 up against 5921 you a taunt 4912 And utter 5091 a bitter 5093 lamentation 5092 [and] say 559, ‘We are completely 7703 destroyed 7703!  2:5 “Therefore 3651 you will have 1961 no 3808 one stretching 7993 a measuring 2256a line 2256a For you by lot 1486 in the assembly 6951 of the LORD 3068.

 2:6 ¶ ‘Do not speak 5197 out,’ [so] they speak 5197 out. [But if] they do not speak 5197 out concerning these 428 things 428, Reproaches 3639 will not be turned 5472 back 5472.

 2:7 “Is it being said 559, O house 1004 of Jacob 3290: ‘Is the Spirit 7307 of the LORD 3068 impatient 7114a? Are these 428 His doings 4611?’ Do not My words 1697 do 3190 good 3190 To the one walking 1980 uprightly 3477?

 2:9 “The women 802 of My people 5971a you evict 1644, Each [one] from her pleasant 8588 house 1004. From her children 5768 you take 3947 My splendor 1926 forever 5769.
