 4:1 Wherefore, my brethren, beloved and tenderly-regarded, my joy and my crown, so stand in our Lord, my beloved.

 4:1 Wherefore, my beloved and dear brethren, my joy and my crown! -so stand ye fast in our Lord, my beloved!

 4:2 Of Evhodia I beseech, and of Syntika, that one mind they have in our Lord.

 4:2 I beseech of Euodias and Syntyche, that they be of one mind in our Lord.

 4:3 Also of thee I beseech, my true yokefellow, to be helpful to those who are labouring with me in the gospel, with Klimis, and with the rest of my helpers, whose names are written in the book of life.

 4:3 I also beseech of thee, my true yokefellow, that thou assist those women who toiled with me in the gospel; together with Clement, and with the rest of my helpers, whose names are written in the book of life.

 4:4 Rejoice in our Lord in all time, and again I say, Rejoice.

 4:4 Rejoice ye in our Lord, at all times; and again I say, Rejoice.

 4:5 And let your meekness be known unto every man: our Lord is near.

 4:5 Let your humility be recognized among all men. Our Lord is near.

 4:6 For nothing be anxious; but in all time, with prayer and with supplication, let your requests be made known before Aloha:

 4:6 Be anxious for nothing; but at all times, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make known your requests before God.

 4:7 And the peace of Aloha, which is greater than all knowledge, shall keep your hearts and your minds, through Jeshu Meshiha.

 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasseth all knowledge, will keep your hearts and your minds, through Jesus the Messiah.

 4:8 ¶ FINALLY, my brethren, those (things) which are true, and those which are honest, and those which are just, and those which are pure, and those which are lovely, and those which are laudable, and those (which are) works of praise and of celebration, these consider.

 4:8 Finally, my brethren, what things are true, and what things are decorous, and what things are right, and what things are pure, and what things are lovely, and what things are commendable, and deeds of praise and approbation, on these be your thoughts.

 4:9 These which you have learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these perform; and the God of peace will be with you.

 4:9 What things ye have learned, and received, and heard, and seen, in me, these do ye: and the God of peace will be with you.

 4:10 But greatly do I rejoice in our Lord, that you have begun to care (again) for me, as also you were [formerly] careful, but you have not had ability.

 4:10 And I rejoice greatly in our Lord, that ye have [again] commenced caring for me; even as ye had before cared [for me,] but ye had not the opportunity.

 4:11 But I have not spoken because I have had need; for I have learned to make sufficient to me that which I have had.

 4:11 Yet I say this, not because I was in want; for I have learned to make that satisfy me, which I have.

 4:12 I know (how) to be abased, I know also how to abound in all; and in every thing I am trained with sufficiency and with hunger, with abundance and with destitution [to be satisfied]:

 4:12 I know how to be depressed, and I also know how to abound in every thing; and in all things am I exercised, both in fullness and in famine, in abundance and in penury.

 4:13 for every thing I am empowered through the Meshiha who strengtheneth me.

 4:13 I find strength for every thing, in the Messiah who strengtheneth me.

 4:14 Nevertheless, you have done well to communicate unto my afflictions.

 4:14 Yet ye have done well, in that ye communicated to my necessities.

 4:15 Know also, you Philipisoyee, that in the commencement of the gospel, when I went forth from Makedunia, not one of the churches communicated to me in the account of receiving and giving, but you only.

 4:15 And ye know also, Philippians, that in the beginning of the annunciation, when I left Macedonia, not one of the churches communicated with me in respect to receiving and giving, except ye only;

 4:16 For also to Thessalonika one time and twice to my necessity you sent.

 4:16 that also at Thessalonica, once and again ye sent me relief.

 4:17 Not because I seek the gift, but I seek that fruit may multiply unto you.

 4:17 Not that I desire a gift; but I wish fruits may multiply unto you.

 4:18 But I have received every thing, I abound; and am full; and I have accepted all that you sent me by Epaphroditos, a sweet fragrance and a sacrifice, acceptable, which pleaseth Aloha.

 4:18 I have [now] received all, and I abound, and am full: and I accepted all that ye sent to me by Epaphroditus, a sweet odor, and an acceptable sacrifice that pleaseth God.

 4:19 And my God shall supply all your necessity, according to his riches in the glory of Jeshu Meshiha.

 4:19 And may God supply all your necessity, according to his riches, in the glory of Jesus the Messiah.

 4:20 To Aloha our Father be praise and glory to the age of ages. Amen.

 4:20 And to God our Father, be glory and honor, for ever and ever. Amen.

 4:21 Ask for the peace of all the saints who are in Jeshu the Meshiha. The brethren who are with me ask for your peace.

 4:21 Salute all the saints who are in Jesus the Messiah. The brethren who are with me, salute you.

 4:22 All the saints ask for your peace, especially those who are of the house of Caesar.

 4:22 All the saints salute you, especially those of Caesar's household.

 4:23 The grace of our Lord Jeshu the Meshiha be with you all. Amen.
