Romans 15

1 The strong must bear with the weak. 2 We may not please ourselves, 3 for Christ did not so, 7 but receive one the other, as Christ did us all, 8 both Jews 9 and Gentiles. 15 Paul excuseth his writing, 28 and promiseth to see them, 30 and requesteth their prayers.

 15:1 Now 1161 we who are strong 1415 ought 3784 to bear 941 the weaknesses 771 of those 3588 without 102 strength 102 and not [just] please 700 ourselves 1438.

 15:2 Each 1538 of us is to please 700 his neighbor 4139 for his good 18, to his edification 3619.

 15:3 For even 2532 Christ 5547 did not please 700 Himself 1438; but as it is written 1125, “THE REPROACHES 3680 OF THOSE 3588 WHO REPROACHED 3679 YOU FELL 1968 ON ME.”

 15:4 For whatever 3745 was written 4270 in earlier 4270 times 4270 was written 1125 for our instruction 1319, so 2443 that through 1223 perseverance 5281 and the encouragement 3874 of the Scriptures 1124 we might have 2192 hope 1680.

 15:5 Now 1161 may the God 2316 who gives 1325 perseverance 5281 and encouragement 3874 grant 1325 you to be of the same 846 mind 5426 with one 240 another 240 according 2596 to Christ 5547 Jesus 2424,

 15:6 so 2443 that with one 3661 accord 3661 you may with one 1520 voice 4750 glorify 1392 the God 2316 and Father 3962 of our Lord 2962 Jesus 2424 Christ 5547.

 15:7 ¶ Therefore 1352, accept 4355 one 240 another 240, just 2531a as Christ 5547 also 2532 accepted 4355 us to the glory 1391 of God 2316.

 15:8 For I say 3004 that Christ 5547 has become 1096 a servant 1249 to the circumcision 4061 on behalf 5228 of the truth 225 of God 2316 to confirm 950 the promises 1860 [given] to the fathers 3962,

 15:9 and for the Gentiles 1484 to glorify 1392 God 2316 for His mercy 1656; as it is written 1125, “THEREFORE 1223 3778 I WILL GIVE 1843 PRAISE 1843 TO YOU AMONG 1722 THE GENTILES 1484, AND I WILL SING 5567 TO YOUR NAME 3686.”

 15:10 Again 3825 he says 3004, “REJOICE 2165, O GENTILES 1484, WITH HIS PEOPLE 2992.”

 15:11 And again 3825, “PRAISE 134 THE LORD 2962 ALL 3956 YOU GENTILES 1484, AND LET ALL 3956 THE PEOPLES 2992 PRAISE 1867 HIM.”

 15:12 Again 3825 Isaiah 2268 says 3004, “THERE SHALL COME 1510 THE ROOT 4491 OF JESSE 2421, AND HE WHO ARISES 450 TO RULE 757 OVER THE GENTILES 1484, IN HIM SHALL THE GENTILES 1484 HOPE 1679.”

 15:13 Now 1161 may the God 2316 of hope 1680 fill 4137 you with all 3956 joy 5479 and peace 1515 in believing 4100, so 1519 that you will abound 4052 in hope 1680 by the power 1411 of the Holy 40 Spirit 4151.

 15:14 ¶ And concerning 4012 you, my brethren 80, I myself 846 also 2532 am convinced 3982 that you yourselves 846 are full 3324 of goodness 19b, filled 4137 with all 3956 knowledge 1108 and able 1410 also 2532 to admonish 3560 one 240 another 240.

 15:15 But I have written 1125 very 5112 boldly 5112 to you on some 3313 points 3313 so 5613 as to remind 1878 you again 1878, because 1223 of the grace 5485 that was given 1325 me from God 2316,

 15:16 to be a minister 3011 of Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 to the Gentiles 1484, ministering 2418 as a priest 2418 the gospel 2098 of God 2316, so 2443 that [my] offering 4376 of the Gentiles 1484 may become 1096 acceptable 2144, sanctified 37 by the Holy 40 Spirit 4151.

 15:17 Therefore 3767 in Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 I have 2192 found reason 2746a for boasting 2746a in things pertaining 4314 to God 2316.

 15:18 For I will not presume 5111 to speak 2980 of anything 5100 except 3756 what 3739 Christ 5547 has accomplished 2716 through 1223 me, resulting 1519 in the obedience 5218 of the Gentiles 1484 by word 3056 and deed 2041,

 15:19 in the power 1411 of signs 4592 and wonders 5059, in the power 1411 of the Spirit 4151; so 5620 that from Jerusalem 2419 and round 2945 about 2945 as far 3360 as Illyricum 2437 I have fully 4137 preached 4137 the gospel 2098 of Christ 5547.

 15:20 And thus 3779 I aspired 5389 to preach 2097 the gospel 2097, not where 3699 Christ 5547 was [already] named 3687, so 2443 that I would not build 3618 on another 245 man’s 245 foundation 2310b;

 15:21 but as it is written 1125, “THEY WHO 3739 HAD 312 NO 3756 NEWS 312 OF HIM SHALL SEE 3708, AND THEY WHO HAVE NOT HEARD 191 SHALL UNDERSTAND 4920.”

 15:22 ¶ For this 1352 reason 1352 I have often 4183 been prevented 1465 from coming 2064 to you;

 15:23 but now 3570, with no 3371 further 3371 place 5117 for me in these 3778 regions 2824, and since I have had 2192 for many 2425 years 2094 a longing 1974 to come 2064 to you

 15:24 whenever 5613 1437 I go 4198 to Spain 4681—for I hope 1679 to see 2300 you in passing 1279, and to be helped 4311 on my way 4311 there 1563 by you, when I have first 4413 enjoyed 1705a your company for a while 3313—

 15:25 but now 3570, I am going 4198 to Jerusalem 2419 serving 1247 the saints 40.

 15:26 For Macedonia 3109 and Achaia 882 have been 2106 pleased 2106 to make 4160 a contribution 2842 for the poor 4434 among the saints 40 in Jerusalem 2419.

 15:27 Yes 1063, they were pleased 2106 [to do so], and they are indebted 3781 to them. For if 1487 the Gentiles 1484 have shared 2841 in their spiritual 4152 things 4152, they are indebted 3784 to minister 3008 to them also 2532 in material 4559 things 4559.

 15:28 Therefore 3767, when I have finished 2005 this 3778, and have put 4972 my seal 4972 on this 3778 fruit 2590 of theirs 846, I will go 565 on by way 1223 of you to Spain 4681.

 15:29 I know 3609a that when I come 2064 to you, I will come 2064 in the fullness 4138 of the blessing 2129 of Christ 5547.

 15:30 ¶ Now 1161 I urge 3870 you, brethren 80, by our Lord 2962 Jesus 2424 Christ 5547 and by the love 26 of the Spirit 4151, to strive 4865 together 4865 with me in your prayers 4335 to God 2316 for me,

 15:31 that I may be rescued 4506 from those 3588 who are disobedient 544 in Judea 2453, and [that] my service 1248 for Jerusalem 2419 may prove 1096 acceptable 2144 to the saints 40;

 15:32 so 2443 that I may come 2064 to you in joy 5479 by the will 2307 of God 2316 and find 4875 [refreshing] rest 4875 in your company.

 15:33 Now 1161 the God 2316 of peace 1515 be with you all 3956. Amen 281.
