Song of Songs 6

1 The Church professeth her faith in Christ. 4 Christ sheweth the graces of the Church, 10 and his love towards her.

 6:1 “Where 575 has your beloved 1730 gone 1980, O most beautiful 3303 among women 802? Where 575 has your beloved 1730 turned 6437, That we may seek 1245 him with you?”

 6:2 ¶ “My beloved 1730 has gone 3381 down 3381 to his garden 1588, To the beds 6170 of balsam 1314, To pasture 7462a [his flock] in the gardens 1588 And gather 3950 lilies 7799.

 6:3 “I am my beloved’s 1730 and my beloved 1730 is mine, He who pastures 7462a [his flock] among the lilies 7799.”

 6:4 ¶ “You are as beautiful 3303 as Tirzah 8656, my darling 7474, As lovely 5000 as Jerusalem 3389, As awesome 366 as an army 1713b with banners 1713b.

 6:5 “Turn 5437 your eyes 5869 away 5437 from me, For they have confused 7292 me; Your hair 8181 is like a flock 5739 of goats 5795 That have descended 1570 from Gilead 1568.

 6:6 “Your teeth 8127 are like a flock 5739 of ewes 7353 Which 7945 have come 5927 up from [their] washing 7367, All 3605 of which 7945 bear 8382 twins 8382, And not one 369 among them has lost 7909b her young 7909b.

 6:7 “Your temples 7541 are like a slice 6400 of a pomegranate 7416 Behind 4480 1157 your veil 6777.

 6:8 “There 1992a are sixty 8346 queens 4436 and eighty 8084 concubines 6370, And maidens 5959 without 369 number 4557;

 6:9 [But] my dove 3123, my perfect 8535 one 8535, is unique 259: She is her mother’s 517 only 259 [daughter]; She is the pure 1249 [child] of the one who bore 3205 her. The maidens 1323 saw 7200 her and called 833 her blessed 833, The queens 4436 and the concubines 6370 [also], and they praised 1984b her, [saying],

 6:10 ¶ ‘Who 4310 is this 384 that grows 8259 like 3644 the dawn 7837, As beautiful 3303 as the full 3842 moon 3842, As pure 1249 as the sun 2535, As awesome 366 as an army 1713b with banners 1713b?’

 6:11 “I went 3381 down 3381 to the orchard 1593 of nut 93 trees 93 To see 7200 the blossoms 3 of the valley 5158a, To see 7200 whether the vine 1612 had budded 6524a [Or] the pomegranates 7416 had bloomed 5340b.

 6:12 “Before I was aware 3045, my soul 5315 set 7760 me [Over] the chariots 4818 of my noble 5081 people 5971a.”

 6:13 ¶ “Come 7725 back 7725, come 7725 back 7725, O Shulammite 7759; Come 7725 back 7725, come 7725 back 7725, that we may gaze 2372 at you!” ¶ “Why 4100 should you gaze 2372 at the Shulammite 7759, As at the dance 4246 of the two companies 4264?
