 1:1 ¶ Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,

 1:1 ¶ Now in the firstº yearº of Cyrusº kingº of Persia,º that the wordº of the LORDº by the mouthºº of Jeremiahº might be fulfilled,ºº the LORDº stirred upººº the spiritº of Cyrusº kingº of Persia,º that he made a proclamationººº throughout allº his kingdom,º and [put it] alsoº in writing,º saying,ºº

 1:2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, the God of heaven, given me; and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

 1:2 Thusº saithºº Cyrusº kingº of Persia,º The LORDº Godº of heavenº hath givenºº me allº the kingdomsº of the earth;º and heº hath chargedººº me to buildºº him an houseº at Jerusalem,º whichº [is] in Judah.º

 1:3 Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.

 1:3 Whoº [is there] among you of allºº his people?º his Godº beº withº him, and let him go upºº to Jerusalem,º whichº [is] in Judah,º and buildººº the houseº of the LORDº Godº of Israel,º (heº [is] the God,)º whichº [is] in Jerusalem.º

 1:4 And whosoever is left, in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besides the freewill-offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

 1:4 And whosoeverº remainethºº in anyºº placeº whereº heº sojourneth,ºº let the menºº of his placeº helpºº him with silver,º and with gold,º and with goods,º and with beasts,º besideº the freewill offeringº for the houseº of Godº thatº [is] in Jerusalem.º

 1:5 ¶ Then rose up the heads of fathers' [houses] of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up to build the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem.

 1:5 ¶ Then rose upºº the chiefº of the fathersº of Judahº and Benjamin,º and the priests,º and the Levites,º with allº [them]º whose spiritº Godº had raised,ºº to go upºº to buildººº the houseº of the LORDº whichº [is] in Jerusalem.º

 1:6 And all they that were round about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

 1:6 And allº they that [were] aboutº them strengthenedºº their handsº with vesselsº of silver,º with gold,º with goods,º and with beasts,º and with precious things,º beside allººº [that] was willingly offered.ºº

 1:7 ¶ Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;

 1:7 ¶ Also Cyrusº the kingº brought forthººº the vesselsº of the houseº of the LORD,º whichº Nebuchadnezzarº had brought forthºº out of Jerusalem,ºº and had putºº them in the houseº of his gods;º

 1:8 even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

 1:8 Even those did Cyrusº kingº of Persiaº bring forthºº byº the handº of Mithredathº the treasurer,º and numberedºº them unto Sheshbazzar,º the princeº of Judah.º

 1:9 And this is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, a thousand platters of silver, nine and twenty knives,

 1:9 And thisº [is] the numberº of them: thirtyº chargersº of gold,º a thousandº chargersº of silver,º nineº and twentyº knives,º

 1:10 thirty bowls of gold, silver bowls of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

 1:10 Thirtyº basonsº of gold,º silverº basonsº of a secondº [sort] fourº hundredº and ten,º [and] otherº vesselsº a thousand.º

 1:11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up, when they of the captivity were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.

 1:11 Allº the vesselsº of goldº and of silverº [were] fiveº thousandº and fourº hundred.º Allº [these] did Sheshbazzarº bring upºº withº [them of] the captivityº that were brought upºº from Babylonºº unto Jerusalem.º
