Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. |

a portionº
to seven,º

to eight;º

thou knowestºº
notº
whatº
evilº
shall beº
uponº
the earth.º |

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. |

the cloudsº
be fullºº
of rain,º
they emptyºº
[themselves] uponº
the earth:º
and ifº
the treeº
fallºº
toward the south,º
orº
toward the north,º
in the placeº
where the treeº
falleth,ººº
thereº
itº
shall be.ºº |

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty [themselves] upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. |

He that observethºº
the windº
shall notº
sow;ºº
and he that regardethºº
the cloudsº
shall notº
reap.ºº |

He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. |

[is] the wayº
of the spirit,º
[nor] how the bonesº
[do grow] in the wombº
of her that is with child:º
even soº
thou knowestºº
notºº
the worksº
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
whoº
makethººº

As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the spirit, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of Elohim who maketh all. |

In the morningº
sowººº
thy seed,º
and in the eveningº
withholdººº
notº
thine hand:º
forº
thou knowestºº
notº
whetherºº
shall prosper,ºº
either thisº
orº
that,º
or whetherº
they bothº
[shall be] alikeº
good.º |

11:6
In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both [shall be] alike good. |

11:7 ¶
Truly the lightº
[is] sweet,º
and a pleasantº
[thing it is] for the eyesº
to beholdººº
the sun:º |

11:7 ¶
Truly the light [is] sweet, and a pleasant [thing it is] for the eyes to behold the sun: |

Butº
ifº
a manº
liveºº
manyºº
years,º
[and] rejoiceºº
in them all;º
yet let him rememberººº
the daysº
of darkness;º
forº
they shall beº
many.ºº
Allº
that comethººº
[is] vanity.º |

11:8
But if a man live many years, [and] rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh [is] vanity. |

Rejoice,ºº
O young man,º
in thy youth;º
and let thy heartº
cheerººº
thee in the daysº
of thy youth,º
and walkºº
in the waysº
of thine heart,º
and in the sightº
of thine eyes:º
but knowºº
thou, thatº
forº
allº
theseº
[things]
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
will bringºº
thee into judgment.º |

11:9 ¶
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these [things] Elohim will bring thee into judgment. |

11:10
Therefore removeºº
sorrowº
from thy heart,ºº
and put awayºº
evilº
from thy flesh:ºº
forº
childhoodº
and youthº
[are] vanity.º |

11:10
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth [are] vanity. |
