Acts 18
3 Paul laboureth with his hands, and preacheth at Corinth to the Gentiles. 9 The Lord encourageth him in a vision. 12 He is accused before Gallio the deputy, but is dismissed. 18 Afterwards passing from city to city he strengtheneth the disciples. 24 Apollos, being more perfectly instructed by Aquila and Priscilla, 28 preacheth Christ with great efficacy.
18:1
After 3326 these 3778 things 3778 he left 5563 Athens 116 and went 2064 to Corinth 2882.
18:2
And he found 2147 a Jew 2453 named 3686 Aquila 207, a native 1085 of Pontus 4193, having recently 4373 come 2064 from Italy 2482 with his wife 1135 Priscilla 4251, because 1223 Claudius 2804 had commanded 1299 all 3956 the Jews 2453 to leave 5563 Rome 4516. He came 4334 to them,

and because 1223 he was of the same 3673 trade 3673, he stayed 3306 with them and they were working 2038b, for by trade 5078 they were tent-makers 4635.

And he was reasoning 1256 in the synagogue 4864 every 3956 Sabbath 4521 and trying to persuade 3982 Jews 2453 and Greeks 1672.

¶ But when 5613 Silas 4609 and Timothy 5095 came 2718 down 2718 from Macedonia 3109, Paul 3972 [began] devoting 4912 himself completely 4912 to the word 3056, solemnly 1263 testifying 1263 to the Jews 2453 that Jesus 2424 was the Christ 5547.

But when they resisted 498 and blasphemed 987, he shook 1621 out his garments 2440 and said 3004 to them, “Your blood 129 [be] on your own heads 2776! I am clean 2513. From now 3568 on I will go 4198 to the Gentiles 1484.”

Then 2532 he left 3327 there 1564 and went 2064 to the house 3614 of a man 5100 named 3686 Titius 5102a Justus 2459, a worshiper 4576 of God 2316, whose 3739 house 3614 was next 4927 to the synagogue 4864.

Crispus 2921, the leader 752 of the synagogue 752, believed 4100 in the Lord 2962 with all 3650 his household 3624, and many 4183 of the Corinthians 2881 when they heard 191 were believing 4100 and being baptized 907.

And the Lord 2962 said 3004 to Paul 3972 in the night 3571 by a vision 3705, “Do not be afraid 5399 [any longer], but go on speaking 2980 and do not be silent 4623;

for I am 1510 with you, and no 3762 man 3762 will attack 2007 you in order to harm 2559 you, for I have many 4183 people 2992 in this 3778 city 4172.”

And he settled 2523 [there] a year 1763 and six 1803 months 3376, teaching 1321 the word 3056 of God 2316 among 1722 them.

¶ But while Gallio 1058 was proconsul 446 of Achaia 882, the Jews 2453 with one 3661 accord 3661 rose 2721b up against 2721b Paul 3972 and brought 71 him before 1909 the judgment 968 seat 968,

saying 3004, “This 3778 man 3778 persuades 374a men 444 to worship 4576 God 2316 contrary 3844 to the law 3551.”

But when Paul 3972 was about 3195 to open 455 his mouth 4750, Gallio 1058 said 3004 to the Jews 2453, “If 1487 it were a matter 5100 of wrong 92 or 2228 of vicious 4190 crime 4467, O 5599 Jews 2453, it would be reasonable 3056 for me to put 430 up with you;

but if 1487 there are questions 2213 about 4012 words 3056 and names 3686 and your own law 3551, look 3708 after 3708 it yourselves 846; I am 1014 unwilling 3756 1014 to be a judge 2923 of these 3778 matters.”

And he drove 556 them away 556 from the judgment 968 seat 968.

And they all 3956 took 1949 hold 1949 of Sosthenes 4988, the leader 752 of the synagogue 752, and [began] beating 5180 him in front 1715 of the judgment 968 seat 968. But Gallio 1058 was not concerned 3199 about any 3762 of these 3778 things 3778.

¶ Paul 3972, having remained 4357 many 2425 days 2250 longer 2089, took 657 leave 657 of the brethren 80 and put 1602 out to sea 1602 for Syria 4947, and with him were Priscilla 4251 and Aquila 207. In Cenchrea 2747 he had his hair 2776 cut 2751, for he was keeping 2192 a vow 2171.

They came 2658 to Ephesus 2181, and he left 2641 them there 847. Now 1161 he himself 846 entered 1525 the synagogue 4864 and reasoned 1256 with the Jews 2453.

When they asked 2065 him to stay 3306 for a longer 4183 time 5550, he did not consent 1962,

but taking 657 leave 657 of them and saying 3004, “I will return 344 to you again 3825 if God 2316 wills 2309,” he set 321 sail 321 from Ephesus 2181.

¶ When he had landed 2718 at Caesarea 2542, he went 305 up and greeted 782 the church 1577, and went 2597 down 2597 to Antioch 490.

¶ Now 1161 a Jew 2453 named 3686 Apollos 625, an Alexandrian 221 by birth 1085, an eloquent 3052 man 435, came 2658 to Ephesus 2181; and he was mighty 1415 in the Scriptures 1124.

This 3778 man 3778 had been 1510 instructed 2727 in the way 3598 of the Lord 2962; and being 2204 fervent 2204 in spirit 4151, he was speaking 2980 and teaching 1321 accurately 199 the things concerning 4012 Jesus 2424, being 1987 acquainted 1987 only 3440 with the baptism 908 of John 2491;

and he began 757 to speak 3955 out boldly 3955 in the synagogue 4864. But when Priscilla 4251 and Aquila 207 heard 191 him, they took 4355 him aside 4355 and explained 1620 to him the way 3598 of God 2316 more 199 accurately 199.

And when he wanted 1014 to go 1330 across 1330 to Achaia 882, the brethren 80 encouraged 4389 him and wrote 1125 to the disciples 3101 to welcome 588 him; and when he had arrived 3854, he greatly 4183 helped 4820 those 3588 who had believed 4100 through 1223 grace 5485,

for he powerfully 2159 refuted 1246 the Jews 2453 in public 1219, demonstrating 1925 by the Scriptures 1124 that Jesus 2424 was the Christ 5547.
