Hosea 3

1 By the expiation of an adulteress, 4 is shewed the desolation of Israel before their restoration.

 3:1 Then the LORD 3068 said 559 to me, “Go 1980 again 5750, love 157 a woman 802 [who] is loved 157 by [her] husband 7453, yet an adulteress 5003, even as the LORD 3068 loves 157 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, though they turn 6437 to other 312 gods 430 and love 157 raisin 809 6025 cakes 809.”

 3:2 So I bought 3739 her for myself for fifteen 2568 6240 [shekels] of silver 3701 and a homer 2563c and a half 3963 of barley 8184.

 3:3 Then I said 559 to her, “You shall stay 3427 with me for many 7227a days 3117. You shall not play 2181 the harlot 2181, nor 3808 shall you have 1961 a man 376; so I will also 1571 be toward 413 you.”

 3:4 For the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 will remain 3427 for many 7227a days 3117 without 369 king 4428 or prince 8269, without 369 sacrifice 2077 or [sacred] pillar 4676 and without 369 ephod 646 or household 8655 idols 8655.

 3:5 Afterward 310 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 will return 7725 and seek 1245 the LORD 3068 their God 430 and David 1732 their king 4428; and they will come 6342 trembling 6342 to the LORD 3068 and to His goodness 2898 in the last 319 days 3117.
