Hosea 6

1 An exhortation to repentance. 4 A complaint of their untowardness and iniquity.

 6:1 “Come 1980, let us return 7725 to the LORD 3068. For He has torn 2963 [us], but He will heal 7495 us; He has wounded 5221 [us], but He will bandage 2280 us.

 6:2 “He will revive 2421a us after 4480 two days 3117; He will raise 6965 us up on the third 7992 day 3117, That we may live 2421a before 6440 Him.

 6:3 “So let us know 3045, let us press 7291 on to know 3045 the LORD 3068. His going 4161 forth 4161 is as certain 3559 as the dawn 7837; And He will come 935 to us like the rain 1653, Like the spring 4456 rain 4456 watering 3384 the earth 776.”

 6:4 ¶ What 4100 shall I do 6213a with you, O Ephraim 669? What 4100 shall I do 6213a with you, O Judah 3063? For your loyalty 2617a is like a morning 1242 cloud 6051 And like the dew 2919 which goes 1980 away early 7925.

 6:5 Therefore 5921 3651 I have hewn 2672 [them] in pieces 2672 by the prophets 5030; I have slain 2026 them by the words 561 of My mouth 6310; And the judgments 4941 on you are [like] the light 216 that goes 3318 forth 3318.

 6:6 For I delight 2654a in loyalty 2617a rather 3808 than 3808 sacrifice 2077, And in the knowledge 1847 of God 430 rather 4480 than 4480 burnt 5930a offerings 5930a.

 6:7 But like Adam 121 they have transgressed 5674a the covenant 1285; There 8033 they have dealt 898 treacherously 898 against Me.

 6:8 Gilead 1568 is a city 7151 of wrongdoers 205, Tracked 6121a with bloody 1818 [footprints].

 6:9 And as raiders 1416 wait 2442 for a man 376, [So] a band 2267 of priests 3548 murder 7523 on the way 1870 to Shechem 7927; Surely 3588 they have committed 6213a crime 2154.

 6:10 In the house 1004 of Israel 3478 I have seen 7200 a horrible 8186b thing 8186b; Ephraim’s 669 harlotry 2184 is there 8033, Israel 3478 has defiled 2930 itself.

 6:11 Also 1571, O Judah 3063, there is a harvest 7105a appointed for you, When I restore 7725 the fortunes 7622 of My people 5971a.
