 13:1 ¶ In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

 13:1 ¶ In thatº dayº there shall beº a fountainº openedºº to the houseº of Davidº and to the inhabitantsºº of Jerusalemº for sinº and for uncleanness.º

 13:2 ¶ And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

 13:2 ¶ And it shall come to passº in thatº day,º saithºº the LORDº of hosts,º [that] I will cut offººº the namesº of the idolsº out ofº the land,º and they shall noº moreº be remembered:ºº and alsoº I will causeº the prophetsº and the uncleanº spiritº to passºº out ofº the land.º

 13:3 And it shall come to pass that, when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of Jehovah; and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

 13:3 And it shall come to pass,º [that] whenº anyº shall yetº prophesy,ºº then his fatherº and his motherº that begatºº him shall sayºº untoº him, Thou shalt notº live;ºº forº thou speakestºº liesº in the nameº of the LORD:º and his fatherº and his motherº that begatºº him shall thrustºº him throughº when he prophesieth.ºº

 13:4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he prophesieth; neither shall they wear a hairy mantle to deceive:

 13:4 And it shall come to passº in thatº day,º [that] the prophetsº shall be ashamedºº every oneº of his vision,ºº when he hath prophesied;ºº neitherº shall they wearºº a roughº garmentº toº deceive:ºº

 13:5 but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.

 13:5 But he shall say,ºº Iº [am] noº prophet,º Iº [am] an husbandman;ºººº forº manº taught me to keep cattleºº from my youth.ºº

 13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds between thine arms? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

 13:6 And [one] shall sayºº untoº him, Whatº [are] theseº woundsº inº thine hands?º Then he shall answer,ºº [Those] with whichº I was woundedºº [in] the houseº of my friends.ºº

 13:7 ¶ Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones.

 13:7 ¶ Awake,ºº O sword,º againstº my shepherd,ºº and againstº the manº [that is] my fellow,º saithºº the LORDº of hosts:º smiteººº the shepherd,ºº and the sheepº shall be scattered:ºº and I will turnºº mine handº uponº the little ones.ºº

 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith Jehovah, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

 13:8 And it shall come to pass,º [that] in allº the land,º saithºº the LORD,º twoº partsº therein shall be cut offºº [and] die;ºº but the thirdº shall be leftºº therein.

 13:9 And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

 13:9 And I will bringººº the third partº through the fire,º and will refineºº them asº silverº is refined,ºº and will tryºº them asº goldº is tried:ºº theyº shall callºº on my name,º and Iº will hearºº them: I will say,ºº Itº [is] my people:º and theyº shall say,ºº The LORDº [is] my God.º
