 2:1 ¶ And I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a man, and in his hand a measuring line.

 2:1 ¶ I lifted up°° mine eyes° again, and looked,°° and behold° a man° with a measuring° line° in his hand.°

 2:2 And I said to him, Whither goest thou? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth of it, and what is the length of it.

 2:2 Then said°° I, Whither° goest°° thou?° And he said°° unto° me, To measure°°° Jerusalem,° to see°° what° [is] the breadth° thereof, and what° [is] the length° thereof.

 2:3 And, behold, the angel that spoke with me stood [by], and another angel went forth to meet him,

 2:3 And, behold,° the angel° that talked°° with me went forth,°° and another° angel° went out°° to meet°° him,

 2:4 and spoke to him, saying, Run and speak to that young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be fully inhabited by reason of the abundance of men and cattle in the midst of her.

 2:4 And said°° unto° him, Run,°° speak°° to° this° young man,° saying,°° Jerusalem° shall be inhabited°° [as] towns without walls° for the multitude°° of men° and cattle° therein:°

 2:5 And I will be to her, saith the Lord, a wall of fire round about, and I will be for a glory in the midst of her.

 2:5 For I,° saith°° Yahweh,° will be° unto her a wall° of fire° round about,° and will be° the glory° in the midst° of her.

 2:6 ¶ Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I will gather you from the four winds of heaven, saith the Lord,

 2:6 ¶ Ho,° ho,° [come forth], and flee°° from the land°° of the north,° saith°° Yahweh:° for° I have spread you abroad°°° as the four° winds° of the heaven,° saith°° Yahweh.°

 2:7 [even] to Zion{gr.Sion}: deliver yourselves, ye that dwell [with] the daughter of Babylon.

 2:7 Deliver°° thyself,° O° Zion,° that dwellest°° [with] the daughter° of Babylon.°

 2:8 For thus saith the Lord Almighty; After the glory has he sent me to the nations that spoiled you: for he that touches you is as one that touches the apple of his eye.

 2:8 For° thus° saith°° Yahweh° Sabaoth;° After° the glory° hath he sent°° me unto° the nations° which spoiled°° you: for° he that toucheth°° you toucheth°° the apple° of his eye.°

 2:9 For, behold, I bring my hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to them that serve them: and ye shall know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.

 2:9 For,° behold,° I will shake°°° mine hand° upon° them, and they shall be° a spoil° to their servants:°°° and ye shall know°° that° Yahweh° Sabaoth° hath sent°° me.

 2:10 ¶ Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Zion{gr.Sion}: for, behold, I come, and will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.

 2:10 ¶ Sing°° and rejoice,°° O daughter° of Zion:° for,° lo,° I come,°° and I will dwell°° in the midst° of thee, saith°° Yahweh.°

 2:11 And many nations shall flee for refuge to the Lord in that day, and they shall be for a people to him, and they shall dwell in the midst of thee: and thou shalt know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to thee.

 2:11 And many° nations° shall be joined°° to° Yahweh° in that° day,° and shall be° my people:° and I will dwell°° in the midst° of thee, and thou shalt know°° that° Yahweh° Sabaoth° hath sent°° me unto° thee.

 2:12 And the Lord shall inherit Judah{gr.Juda} his portion in the holy [land], and he will yet choose Jerusalem.

 2:12 And Yahweh° shall inherit°°° Judah° his portion° in° the holy° land,° and shall choose°° Jerusalem° again.°

 2:13 Let all flesh fear before the Lord: for he has risen up from his holy clouds.

 2:13 Be silent,°° O all° flesh,° before°° Yahweh:° for° he is raised up°° out of his holy° habitation.°°
