I sawººº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
standingºº
uponº
the altar:º
and he said,ºº
Smiteºº
the lintelº
of the door,º
that the postsº
may shake:ºº
and cutºº
them in the head,º
allº
of them; and I will slayºº
the lastº
of them with the sword:º
he that fleethºº
of them shall notº
flee away,ºº
and he that escapethº
of them shall notº
be delivered.ºº |

9:1 ¶
I saw Yahweh standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. |

Thoughº
they digºº
into hell,º
thenceºº
shall mine handº
takeºº
them; thoughº
they climb upºº
to heaven,º
thenceºº
will I bring them down:ºº |

Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: |

And thoughº
they hideºº
themselvesº
in the topº
of
Carmel
כַּרמֶל,º
I will searchºº
and takeº
them outºº
thence;ºº
and thoughº
they be hidºº
fromºº
my sightº
in the bottomº
of the sea,º
thenceºº
will I commandººº
the serpent,º
and he shall biteºº
them: |

And though they hide themselves in the top of Karmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: |

And thoughº
they goººº
into captivityº
beforeº
their enemies,ºº
thenceºº
will I commandººº
the sword,º
and it shall slayºº
them: and I will setºº
mine eyesº
uponº
them for evil,º
and notº
for good.º |

And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. |

And

Yähwè
יָהוֶהº

צְבָאוֹתº
[is] he that touchethºº
the land,º
and it shall melt,ºº
and allº
that dwellºº
therein shall mourn:ºº
and it shall rise upºº
whollyº
like a flood;º
and shall be drowned,ºº
as [by] the floodº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.º |

9:5
And Adonay Yahweh Tzevaoth [is] he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as [by] the flood of Mitzrayim. |

[It is] he that buildethºº
his storiesº
in the heaven,º
and hath foundedºº
his troopº
inº
the earth;º
he that callethºº
for the watersº
of the sea,º
and poureth them outºº
uponº
the faceº
of the earth:º
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
[is] his name.º |

[It is] he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: Yahweh [is] his name. |

[Are] yeº

as childrenº
of the
Cûšîm
כּוּשִׁיםº
unto me, O childrenº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל?º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º
Have notº
I brought upººº
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
out of the landºº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם?º
and the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּיםº
from
Caftôr
כַּפתּוֹר,ºº
and the
´Árammîm
אֲרַמִּיםº
from
Kîr
קִיר?ºº |

9:7
[Are] ye not as children of the Kushim unto me, O children of Yisrael? saith Yahweh. Have not I brought up Yisrael out of the land of Mitzrayim? and the Pelishtim from Kaftor, and the Arammim from Qir? |

9:8
Behold,º
the eyesº
of
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
[are] upon the sinfulºº
kingdom,º
and I will destroyºº
it from offºº
the faceº
of the earth;º
savingº
thatº
I will notº
utterlyºº
destroyººº
the houseº
of
Ya`áköv
יַעֲקֹב,º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

9:8
Behold, the eyes of Adonay Yahweh [are] upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Yaaqov, saith Yahweh. |

9:9
For,º
lo,º
Iº
will command,ºº
and I will siftººº
the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
among allº
nations,º
like asº
[corn] is siftedºº
in a sieve,º
yet shall notº
the least grainº
fallºº
upon the earth.º |

9:9
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Yisrael among all nations, like as [corn] is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. |
|
9:10
Allº
the sinnersº
of my peopleº
shall dieºº
by the sword,º
which say,ºº
The evilº
shall notº
overtakeºº
nor preventººº
us. |
|
9:10
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. |
|
9:11 ¶
In thatº
dayº
will I raise upººº
the tabernacleº
of
Däwið
דָּוִדº
that is fallen,ºº
and close upººº
the breachesº
thereof; and I will raise upºº
his ruins,º
and I will buildºº
it as in the daysº
of old:º |

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of Dawid that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: |

Thatº
they may possessººº
the remnantº
of
´Éðôm
אֱדוֹם,º
and of allº
the heathen,º
whichº
are calledºº
byºº
my name,º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
that doethºº
this.º |

9:12
That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith Yahweh that doeth this. |
|
9:13
Behold,º
the daysº
come,ºº
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
that the plowmanºº
shall overtakeºº
the reaper,ºº
and the treaderºº
of grapesº
him that sowethºº
seed;º
and the mountainsº
shall dropºº
sweet wine,º
and allº
the hillsº
shall melt.ºº |

Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. |

9:14
And I will bring againººº
the captivityº
of my peopleº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,º
and they shall buildºº
the wasteºº
cities,º
and inhabitºº
[them]; and they shall plantºº
vineyards,º
and drinkººº
the wineº
thereof; they shall also makeºº
gardens,º
and eatººº
the fruitº
of them. |

9:14
And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Yisrael, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. |

9:15
And I will plantºº
them uponº
their land,º
and they shall noº
moreº
be pulled upºº
out ofºº
their landº
whichº
I have givenºº
them, saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
thy
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.º |

9:15
And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith Yahweh thy Elohim. |
