וְגַם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־שָׁאַלְתָּ נָתַתִּי לָךְ גַּם־עֹשֶׁר גַּם־כָּבוֹד אֲשֶׁר לֹא־הָיָה כָמוֹךָ אִישׁ בַּמְּלָכִים כָּל־יָמֶיךָ

וְאִם תֵּלֵךְ בִּדְרָכַי לִשְׁמֹר חֻקַּי וּמִצְוֹתַי כַּאֲשֶׁר הָלַךְ דָּוִיד אָבִיךָ וְהַאַרַכְתִּי אֶת־יָמֶיךָ ס

וַיִּקַץ שְׁלֹמֹה וְהִנֵּה חֲלוֹם וַיָּבוֹא יְרוּשָׁלִַם וַיַּעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן בְּרִית־אֲדֹנָי וַיַּעַל עֹלוֹת וַיַּעַשׂ שְׁלָמִים וַיַּעַשׂ מִשְׁתֶּה לְכָל־עֲבָדָיו פ

אָז תָּבֹאנָה שְׁתַּיִם נָשִׁים זֹנוֹת אֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְ וַתַּעֲמֹדְנָה לְפָנָיו

וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה הָאַחַת בִּי אֲדֹנִי אֲנִי וְהָאִשָּׁה הַזֹּאת יֹשְׁבֹת בְּבַיִת אֶחָד וָאֵלֵד עִמָּהּ בַּבָּיִת

 3:17 And the one 259 woman 802 said, 559 z8799 O 994 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 I x589 and this x2063 woman 802 dwell 3427 z8802 in one 259 house; 1004 and I was delivered of a child 3205 z8799 with x5973 her in the house. 1004

וַיְהִי בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לְלִדְתִּי וַתֵּלֶד גַּם־הָאִשָּׁה הַזֹּאת וַאֲנַחְנוּ יַחְדָּו אֵין־זָר אִתָּנוּ בַּבַּיִת זוּלָתִי שְׁתַּיִם־אֲנַחְנוּ בַּבָּיִת

 3:18 And it came to pass x1961 the third 7992 day 3117 after that I was delivered, 3205 z8800 that this x2063 woman 802 was delivered 3205 z8799 also: x1571 and we x587 [were] together; 3162 [there was] no x369 stranger 2114 z8801 with x854 us in the house, 1004 save 2108 we x587 two 8147 in the house. 1004

וַיָּמָת בֶּן־הָאִשָּׁה הַזֹּאת לָיְלָה אֲשֶׁר שָׁכְבָה עָלָיו

וַתָּקָם בְּתוֹךְ הַלַּיְלָה וַתִּקַּח אֶת־בְּנִי מֵאֶצְלִי וַאֲמָתְךָ יְשֵׁנָה וַתַּשְׁכִּיבֵהוּ בְּחֵיקָהּ וְאֶת־בְּנָהּ הַמֵּת הִשְׁכִּיבָה בְחֵיקִי

 3:20 waTäqäm B'tôkh' haLay'läh waTiQach et-B'niy mëetz'liy waámät'khä y'shënäh waTash'Kiyvëhû B'chëyqäH w'et-B'näH haMët hish'Kiyväh v'chëyqiy

 3:20 And she arose 6965 z8799 at midnight, 8432 3915 and took 3947 z8799 x853 my son 1121 from beside 681 x4480 me, while thine handmaid 519 slept, 3463 and laid 7901 z8686 it in her bosom, 2436 and laid 7901 z8689 her dead 4191 z8801 child 1121 in my bosom. 2436

וָאָקֻם בַּבֹּקֶר לְהֵינִיק אֶת־בְּנִי וְהִנֵּה־מֵת וָאֶתְבּוֹנֵן אֵלָיו בַּבֹּקֶר וְהִנֵּה לֹא־הָיָה בְנִי אֲשֶׁר יָלָדְתִּי

 3:21 And when I rose 6965 z8799 in the morning 1242 to give my child y1121 suck, y3243 z8687 x3242 x853 x1121 behold, x2009 it was dead: 4191 z8804 but when I had considered 995 z8709 x413 it in the morning, 1242 behold, x2009 it was x1961 not x3808 my son, 1121 which x834 I did bear. 3205 z8804

וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה הָאַחֶרֶת לֹא כִי בְּנִי הַחַי וּבְנֵךְ הַמֵּת וְזֹאת אֹמֶרֶת לֹא כִי בְּנֵךְ הַמֵּת וּבְנִי הֶחָי וַתְּדַבֵּרְנָה לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ

 3:22 And the other 312 woman 802 said, 559 z8799 Nay; x3808 but x3588 the living 2416 [is] my son, 1121 and the dead 4191 z8801 [is] thy son. 1121 And this x2063 said, 559 z8802 No; x3808 but x3588 the dead 4191 z8801 [is] thy son, 1121 and the living 2416 [is] my son. 1121 Thus they spake 1696 z8762 before 6440 the king. 4428

וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ זֹאת אֹמֶרֶת זֶה־בְּנִי הַחַי וּבְנֵךְ הַמֵּת וְזֹאת אֹמֶרֶת לֹא כִי בְּנֵךְ הַמֵּת וּבְנִי הֶחָי פ

וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ קְחוּ לִי־חָרֶב וַיָּבִאוּ הַחֶרֶב לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ

 3:24 waYomer haMelekh' q'chû liy-chärev waYäviû hacherev lif'nëy haMelekh'

 3:24 And the king 4428 said, 559 z8799 Bring 3947 z8798 me a sword. 2719 And they brought 935 z8686 a sword 2719 before 6440 the king. 4428

וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ גִּזְרוּ אֶת־הַיֶּלֶד הַחַי לִשְׁנָיִם וּתְנוּ אֶת־הַחֲצִי לְאַחַת וְאֶת־הַחֲצִי לְאֶחָת

 3:25 waYomer haMelekh' Giz'rû et-haYeled hachay lish'näyim ût'nû et-hachátziy l'achat w'et-hachátziy l'echät

וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר־בְּנָהּ הַחַי אֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְ כִּי־נִכְמְרוּ רַחֲמֶיהָ עַל־בְּנָהּ וַתֹּאמֶר בִּי אֲדֹנִי תְּנוּ־לָהּ אֶת־הַיָּלוּד הַחַי וְהָמֵת אַל־תְּמִיתֻהוּ וְזֹאת אֹמֶרֶת גַּם־לִי גַם־לָךְ לֹא יִהְיֶה גְּזֹרוּ

 3:26 Then spake 559 z8799 the woman 802 whose x834 the living 2416 child 1121 [was] unto x413 the king, 4428 for x3588 her bowels 7356 yearned 3648 z8738 upon x5921 her son, 1121 and she said, 559 z8799 O 994 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 give 5414 z8798 her x853 the living 2416 child, 3205 z8803 and in no x408 wise y4191 z8687 slay 4191 z8686 it. But the other x2063 said, 559 z8802 Let it be x1961 neither x1571 x3808 mine nor x1571 thine, [but] divide 1504 z8798 [it].

וַיַּעַן הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיֹּאמֶר תְּנוּ־לָהּ אֶת־הַיָּלוּד הַחַי וְהָמֵת לֹא תְמִיתֻהוּ הִיא אִמּוֹ

 3:27 waYaan haMelekh' waYomer T'nû-läH et-haYälûd hachay w'hämët lo t'miytuhû hiy iMô

 3:27 Then the king 4428 answered 6030 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 Give 5414 z8798 her x853 the living 2416 child, 3205 z8803 and in no x3808 wise y4191 z8687 slay 4191 z8686 it: she x1931 [is] the mother 517 thereof.

וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־הַמִּשְׁפָּט אֲשֶׁר שָׁפַט הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיִּרְאוּ מִפְּנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ כִּי רָאוּ כִּי־חָכְמַת אֱלֹהִים בְּקִרְבּוֹ לַעֲשׂוֹת מִשְׁפָּט ס
