16:1
Then the lot 1486 for the sons 1121 of Joseph 3130 went 3318 from the Jordan 3383 at Jericho 3405 to the waters 4325 of Jericho 3405 on the east 4217 into the wilderness 4057b, going 5927 up from Jericho 3405 through the hill 2022 country 2022 to Bethel 1008.

It went 3318 from Bethel 1008 to Luz 3870, and continued 5674a to the border 1366 of the Archites 757 at Ataroth 5852.

It went 3381 down 3381 westward 3220 to the territory 1366 of the Japhletites 3311, as far 5704 as the territory 1366 of lower 8481 Beth-horon 1032 even to Gezer 1507, and it ended 1961 8444 at the sea 3220.

¶ The sons 1121 of Joseph 3130, Manasseh 4519 and Ephraim 669, received 5157 their inheritance 5157.

From Tappuah 8599 the border 1366 continued 1980 westward 3220 to the brook 5158a of Kanah 7071, and it ended 1961 8444 at the sea 3220. This 2088 is the inheritance 5159 of the tribe 4294 of the sons 1121 of Ephraim 669 according to their families 4940,

[together] with the cities 5892b which were set 3995 apart 3995 for the sons 1121 of Ephraim 669 in the midst 8432 of the inheritance 5159 of the sons 1121 of Manasseh 4519, all 3605 the cities 5892b with their villages 2691b.

But they did not drive 3423 out the Canaanites 3669a who lived 3427 in Gezer 1507, so the Canaanites 3669a live 3427 in the midst 7130 of Ephraim 669 to this 2088 day 3117, and they became 1961 forced 4522 laborers 5647 4522.
