a man°

Yiŝŝäjȼär
יִשָּׂשכָר;°
and he°
dwelt°°
in
Šämîr
שָׁמִיר°
in mount°
´Efrayim
אֶפרַיִם.° |

10:1 ¶
And after Avimelekh there arose to defend Yisrael Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Yissaskhar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Efrayim. |
|

And he judged°°°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
twenty°
and three°
years,°
and died,°°
and was buried°°
in
Šämîr
שָׁמִיר.° |

And he judged Yisrael twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir. |

10:3 ¶
And after°
him arose°°
Yä´îr
יָאִיר,°
a
Gil`äđî
גִּלעָדִי,°
and judged°°°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
twenty°
and two°
years.° |

10:3 ¶
And after him arose Yair, a Giladi, and judged Yisrael twenty and two years. |

And he had°
thirty°
sons°
that rode°°
on°
thirty°
ass colts,°
and they had thirty°
cities,°
which are called°°
Çawwöŧ Yä´îr
חַוֹּת־יָאִיר°
unto°
this°
day,°
which°
[are] in the land°
of
Gil`äđ
גִּלעָד.° |

10:4
And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Chawwoth-Yair unto this day, which [are] in the land of Gilad. |

10:5
And
Yä´îr
יָאִיר°
died,°°
and was buried°°
in
Kämôn
קָמוֹן.° |
|
10:5
And Yair died, and was buried in Qamon. |

10:6 ¶
And the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
did°°
evil°
again°°
in the sight°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
and served°°°
Bæ`älîm
בְּעָלִים,°
and
`Aštärôŧ
עַשׁתָּרוֹת,°
and the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of
´Áräm
אֲרָם,°
and the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of
Xîđôn
צִידוֹן,°
and the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of
Mô´äv
מוֹאָב,°
and the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן,°
and the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּים,°
and forsook°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
and served°°
not°
him. |

10:6 ¶
And the children of Yisrael did evil again in the sight of Yahweh, and served Bealim, and Ashtaroth, and the elohim of Aram, and the elohim of Tzidon, and the elohim of Moav, and the elohim of the children of Ammon, and the elohim of the Pelishtim, and forsook Yahweh, and served not him. |

And the anger°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
was hot°°
against
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
and he sold°°
them into the hands°
of the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּים,°
and into the hands°
of the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן.° |

10:7
And the anger of Yahweh was hot against Yisrael, and he sold them into the hands of the Pelishtim, and into the hands of the children of Ammon. |
|
10:8
And that°
year°
they vexed°°
and oppressed°°°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל:°
eighteen°°
years,°°
all°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
that°
[were] on the other side°
Yardën
יַרדֵּן°
in the land°
of the
´Émörîm
אֱמֹרִים,°
which°
[is] in
Gil`äđ
גִּלעָד.° |

10:8
And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Yisrael: eighteen years, all the children of Yisrael that [were] on the other side Yarden in the land of the Emorim, which [is] in Gilad. |

10:9
Moreover the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן°
passed over°°°
Yardën
יַרדֵּן°
to fight°°
also°
against
Yæhûđà
יְהוּדָה,°
and against
Binyämîn
בִּניָמִין,°
and against the house°
of
´Efrayim
אֶפרַיִם;°
so that
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
was sore°
distressed.°° |

10:9
Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Yarden to fight also against Yehudah, and against Binyamin, and against the house of Efrayim; so that Yisrael was sore distressed. |
|
10:10 ¶
And the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
cried°°
unto°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
saying,°°
We have sinned°°
against thee, both because°
we have forsaken°°°
our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
and also served°°°
Bæ`älîm
בְּעָלִים.° |

10:10 ¶
And the children of Yisrael cried unto Yahweh, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our Elohim, and also served Bealim. |
|
10:11
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
said°°
unto°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
[Did] not°
[I deliver you] from the
Mixrîm
מִצרִים,°°
and from°
the
´Émörîm
אֱמֹרִים,°
from°
the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן,°
and from°
the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּים?° |

10:11
And Yahweh said unto the children of Yisrael, [Did] not [I deliver you] from the Mitzrim, and from the Emorim, from the children of Ammon, and from the Pelishtim? |
|
10:12
The
Xîđônîm
צִידוֹנִים°
also, and the
`Ámälëkîm
עֲמָלֵקִים,°
and the
Mä`ônîm
מָעוֹנִים,°
did oppress°°
you; and ye cried°°
to°
me, and I delivered°°
you out of their hand.°° |

The Tzidonim also, and the Amaleqim, and the Maonim, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand. |
|
10:13
Yet ye°
have forsaken°°
me, and served°°
other°
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים:°
wherefore°
I will deliver°°
you no°
more.°° |

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other elohim: wherefore I will deliver you no more. |

10:14
Go°°°
and cry°°
unto°
the
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
which°
ye have chosen;°°
let them°
deliver°°
you in the time°
of your tribulation.° |

Go and cry unto the elohim which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation. |
|
10:15 ¶
And the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
said°°
unto°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
We have sinned:°°
do°°
thou°
unto us whatsoever°
seemeth°
good°
unto°
thee; deliver°°
us only,°
we pray thee,°
this°
day.° |

10:15 ¶
And the children of Yisrael said unto Yahweh, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day. |
|

And they put away°°°
the strange°
´élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
from among°°
them, and served°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:°
and his soul°
was grieved°°
for the misery°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.° |

10:16
And they put away the strange elohim from among them, and served Yahweh: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Yisrael. |
|
10:17
Then the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן°
were gathered together,°°
and encamped°°
in
Gil`äđ
גִּלעָד.°
And the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
assembled themselves together,°°
and encamped°°
in
Mixpà
מִצפָּה.° |

Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilad. And the children of Yisrael assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mitzpah. |
|
10:18
And the people°
[and] princes°
of
Gil`äđ
גִּלעָד°
said°°
one°
to°
another,°
What°
man°
[is he] that°
will begin°°
to fight°°
against the children°
of
`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן?°
he shall be°
head°
over all°
the inhabitants°°
of
Gil`äđ
גִּלעָד.° |

10:18
And the people [and] princes of Gilad said one to another, What man [is he] that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilad. |
