which stretchethºº

the heavens,º
and layeth the foundationºº
of the earth,º
and formethºº
the spiritº
of manº
withinº
him. |

12:1 ¶
The burden of the word of Yahweh for Yisrael, saith Yahweh, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. |

12:2
Behold,º
Iº
will makeººº
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
a cupº
of tremblingº
unto allº
the peopleº
round about,º
when they shall beº
in the siegeº
bothº
againstº
Yæhûðà
יְהוּדָהº
[and] againstº
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º |

12:2
Behold, I will make Yerushalaim a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Yehudah [and] against Yerushalaim. |
|
12:3 ¶
And in thatº
dayº
will I makeººº
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
a burdensomeº
stoneº
for allº
people:º
allº
that burdenºº
themselves with it shall be cut in pieces,ººº
though allº
the peopleº
of the earthº
be gathered togetherºº
againstº
it. |

12:3 ¶
And in that day will I make Yerushalaim a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. |

In thatº
day,º
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
I will smiteºº
everyº
horseº
with astonishment,º
and his riderºº
with madness:º
and I will openººº
mine eyesº
uponº
the houseº
of
Yæhûðà
יְהוּדָה,º
and will smiteºº
everyº
horseº
of the peopleº
with blindness.º |

12:4
In that day, saith Yahweh, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Yehudah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. |
|
12:5
And the governorsº
of
Yæhûðà
יְהוּדָהº
shall sayºº
in their heart,º
The inhabitantsºº
of
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
[shall be] my strengthº
in
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
Xævä´ô±
צְבָאוֹתº
their
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.º |

12:5
And the governors of Yehudah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Yerushalaim [shall be] my strength in Yahweh Tzevaoth their Elohim. |
|
12:6 ¶
In thatº
dayº
will I makeººº
the governorsº
of
Yæhûðà
יְהוּדָהº
like an hearthº
of fireº
among the wood,º
and like a torchº
of fireº
in a sheaf;º
and they shall devourººº
allº
the peopleº
round about,º
onº
the right handº
and onº
the left:º
and
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
shall be inhabitedºº
againº
in her own place,º
[even] in
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º |

12:6 ¶
In that day will I make the governors of Yehudah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Yerushalaim shall be inhabited again in her own place, [even] in Yerushalaim. |

the gloryº
of the houseº

Däwið
דָּוִדº
and the gloryº
of the inhabitantsºº

Yærûšälaim

magnifyºº
[themselves] againstº
Yæhûðà
יְהוּדָה.º |

12:7
Yahweh also shall save the tents of Yehudah first, that the glory of the house of Dawid and the glory of the inhabitants of Yerushalaim do not magnify [themselves] against Yehudah. |
|
12:8
In thatº
dayº
shall
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
defendººº
the inhabitantsºº
of
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם;º
and he that is feebleºº
among them at thatº
dayº
shall beº
as
Däwið
דָּוִד;º
and the houseº
of
Däwið
דָּוִדº
[shall be] as
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,º
as the angelº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
beforeº
them. |

12:8
In that day shall Yahweh defend the inhabitants of Yerushalaim; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as Dawid; and the house of Dawid [shall be] as Elohim, as the angel of Yahweh before them. |
|
12:9 ¶
And it shall come to passº
in thatº
day,º
[that] I will seekºº
to destroyººº
allº
the nationsº
that comeºº
againstº
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º |
|
12:9 ¶
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Yerushalaim. |
|
12:10
And I will pourºº
uponº
the houseº
of
Däwið
דָּוִד,º
and uponº
the inhabitantsºº
of
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
the spiritº
of graceº
and of supplications:º
and they shall lookºº
uponº
meº
whomº
they have pierced,ºº
and they shall mournºº
forº
him, as one mournethººº
forº
[his] onlyº
[son], and shall be in bitternessºº
forº
him, as one that is in bitternessºº
forº
[his] firstborn.º |

12:10
And I will pour upon the house of Dawid, and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalaim, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn. |

יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
as the mourningº
of
Háðað Rimmôn
הֲדַד־רִמּוֹןº
in the valleyº
of
Mæqiddôn
מְגִדּוֹן.º |

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Yerushalaim, as the mourning of Hadad-Rimmon in the valley of Megiddon. |

And the landº
shall mourn,ºº
everyº
familyº
apart;º
the familyº
of the houseº
of
Däwið
דָּוִדº
apart,º
and their wivesº
apart;º
the familyº
of the houseº
of
Nä±än
נָתָןº
apart,º
and their wivesº

And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of Dawid apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; |
