mine eyes,º
and looked,ºº
and beholdº
a flyingºº
roll.º |

Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. |

And he saidºº
untoº
me, Whatº
seestºº
thou?º
And I answered,ºº
Iº
seeºº
a flyingºº
roll;º
the lengthº
thereof [is] twentyº
cubits,º
and the breadthº
thereof tenº
cubits.º |

5:2
And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof [is] twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. |

5:3
Then saidºº
he untoº
me, Thisº
[is] the curseº
that goeth forthºº
overº
the faceº
of the wholeº
earth:º
forº
every oneº
that stealethºº
shall be cut offºº
[as] on this sideºº
accordingº
to it;º
and everyº
one that swearethºº
shall be cut offºº
[as] on that sideºº
accordingº
to it.º |

5:3
Then said he unto me, This [is] the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off [as] on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off [as] on that side according to it. |

I will bring it forth,ºº
saithºº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
Xævä´ô±
צְבָאוֹת,º
and it shall enterºº
intoº
the houseº
of the thief,º
and intoº
the houseº
of him that swearethºº
falselyº
by my name:º
and it shall remainºº
in the midstº
of his house,º
and shall consumeºº
it with the timberº
thereof and the stonesº
thereof. |

5:4
I will bring it forth, saith Yahweh Tzevaoth, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. |

Then the angelº
that talkedºº
with me went forth,ºº
and saidºº
untoº
me, Lift upºº
nowº
thine eyes,º
and seeºº
whatº
[is] thisº
that goeth forth.ºº |

5:5 ¶
Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what [is] this that goeth forth. |

And I said,ºº
Whatº
[is] it?º
And he said,ºº
Thisº
[is] an ephahº
that goeth forth.ºº
He saidºº
moreover, Thisº
[is] their resemblanceº
through allº
the earth.º |

And I said, What [is] it? And he said, This [is] an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This [is] their resemblance through all the earth. |

5:7
And, behold,º
there was lifted upºº
a talentº
of lead:º
and thisº
[is] aº
womanº
that sittethºº
in the midstº
of the ephah.º |

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this [is] a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. |
|
5:8
And he said,ºº
Thisº
[is] wickedness.º
And he castºº
it intoº
the midstº
of the ephah;º
and he castººº
the weightº
of leadº
uponº
the mouthº
thereof. |

5:8
And he said, This [is] wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. |

5:9
Then lifted I upºº
mine eyes,º
and looked,ºº
and, behold,º
there came outºº
twoº
women,º
and the windº
[was] in their wings;º
for theyº
hadº
wingsº
like the wingsº
of a stork:º
and they lifted upººº
the ephahº
betweenº
the earthº
and the heaven.º |

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind [was] in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. |

5:10
Then saidºº
I toº
the angelº
that talkedºº
with me, Whitherº
do theseº
bearºººº
the ephah?º |

5:10
Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? |

5:11
And he saidºº
untoº
me, To buildºº
it an houseº
in the landº
of
Šin`är
שִׁנעָר:º
and it shall be established,ºº
and setººº
thereº
uponº
her own base.º |

5:11
And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base. |
