And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: |

Gog,º
and say,ºº
Thusº
saithºº
the Lordº
GOD;º
Behold,º
I [am] againstº
thee, O Gog,º
the chiefº
princeº
of Meshechº
and Tubal:º |

and I will turn thee about, and will lead thee on, and will cause thee to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel; |

And I will turn thee back,ºº
and leave but the sixth partºº
of thee, and will cause thee to come upºº
from the northº
parts,ºº
and will bringºº
thee uponº
the mountainsº
of Israel:º |

39:3
and I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. |

And I will smiteºº
thy bowº
out of thy leftº
hand,ºº
and will cause thine arrowsº
to fallºº
out of thy rightº
hand.ºº |

39:4
Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy hordes, and the peoples that are with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. |

Thou shalt fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah. |

[it], saithºº
the Lordº
GOD.º |

39:6
And I will send a fire on Magog, and on them that dwell securely in the isles; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. |

and among them that dwellºº
carelesslyº
in the isles:º
and they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am] the LORD.º |

39:7
And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; neither will I suffer my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel. |

So will I makeº
my holyº
nameº
knownºº
in the midstº
of my peopleº
Israel;º
and I will notº
[let them] polluteººº
my holyº
nameº
any more:º
and the heathenº
shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am] the LORD,º
the Holy Oneº
in Israel.º |

39:8 ¶
Behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah; this is the day whereof I have spoken. |

[is] the dayº
whereofº
I have spoken.ºº |

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years; |

of Israelº
shall go forth,ºº
and shall setºº
on fireºº
and burnºº
the weapons,º
both the shieldsº
and the bucklers,º
the bowsº
and the arrows,º
and the handstaves,ºº
and the spears,º
and they shall burnºº
them with fireº
sevenº
years:º |

so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall make fires of the weapons; and they shall plunder those that plundered them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord Jehovah. |

out ofº
the field,º
neitherº
cut downºº
[any] out ofº
the forests;º
forº
they shall burnºº
the weaponsº
with fire:º
and they shall spoilººº
those that spoiledºº
them, and robººº
those that robbedºº
them, saithºº
the Lordº
GOD.º |

39:11 ¶
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of them that pass through on the east of the sea; and it shall stop them that pass through: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude; and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog. |
|
39:11 ¶
And it shall come to passº
in thatº
day,º
[that] I will giveºº
unto Gogº
a placeº
thereº
of gravesº
in Israel,º
the valleyº
of the passengersºº
on the eastº
of the sea:º
and itº
shall stopººº
the [noses] of the passengers:ºº
and thereº
shall they buryººº
Gogº
and allº
his multitude:º
and they shall callºº
[it] The valleyº
of Hamongog.º |

And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land. |

And sevenº
monthsº
shall the houseº
of Israelº
be buryingºº
of them, thatº
they may cleanseººº
the land.º |
|
39:13
Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord Jehovah. |

Yea, allº
the peopleº
of the landº
shall buryºº
[them]; and it shall beº
to them a renownº
the dayº
that I shall be glorified,ºº
saithºº
the Lordº
GOD.º |

39:14
And they shall set apart men of continual employment, that shall pass through the land, and, with them that pass through, those that bury them that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. |

And they shall sever outºº
menºº
of continual employment,º
passingº
throughºº
the landº
to buryººº
with the passengersººº
those that remainºº
uponº
the faceº
of the earth,º
to cleanseºº
it: after the endºº
of sevenº
monthsº
shall they search.ºº |

39:15
And they that pass through the land shall pass through; and when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. |
|

And the passengersºº
[that] pass throughºº
the land,º
when [any] seethºº
a man'sº
bone,º
then shall he set upºº
a signº
byº
it, tillº
the buriersºº
have buriedºº
it inº
the valleyº
of Hamongog.º |

39:16
And Hamonah shall also be the name of a city. Thus shall they cleanse the land. |

of the cityº
[shall be] Hamonah.º
Thus shall they cleanseºº

39:17 ¶
And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Speak unto the birds of every sort, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh and drink blood. |

do sacrificeºº
for you, [even] a greatº
sacrificeº
uponº
the mountainsº
of Israel,º
that ye may eatºº
flesh,º
and drinkºº
blood.º |

Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. |

And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. |

And ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord Jehovah. |

Thus ye shall be filledºº

my tableº
with horsesº
and chariots,º
with mighty men,º
and with allº
menº
of war,º
saithºº
the Lordº
GOD.º |

39:21
And I will set my glory among the nations; and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. |

And I will setººº
my gloryº
among the heathen,º
and allº
the heathenº
shall seeººº
my judgmentº
thatº
I have executed,ºº
and my handº
thatº
I have laidºº
upon them. |

39:22
So the house of Israel shall know that I am Jehovah their God, from that day and forward. |

So the houseº
of Israelº
shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am] the LORDº
their Godº
fromº
thatº
dayº
and forward.º |

39:23 ¶
And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them: so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell all of them by the sword. |

And the heathenº
shall knowºº
thatº
the houseº
of Israelº
went into captivityºº
for their iniquity:º
becauseºº
they trespassedºº
against me, therefore hidºº
I my faceº
fromº
them, and gaveºº
them into the handº
of their enemies:º
so fellºº
they allº
by the sword.º |

According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions did I unto them; and I hid my face from them. |

unto them, and hidºº
my faceº

them. |

39:25
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Now will I bring back the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for my holy name. |

Thereforeº

saithºº
the Lordº
GOD;º
Nowº
will I bring againººº
the captivityºº
of Jacob,º
and have mercyºº
upon the wholeº
houseº
of Israel,º
and will be jealousºº
for my holyº
name;º |

And they shall bear their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they shall dwell securely in their land, and none shall make them afraid; |

After that they have borneººº
their shame,º
and allº
their trespassesº
wherebyº
they have trespassedºº
against me, when they dweltºº
safelyº
inº
their land,º
and noneº
made [them] afraid.ºº |

when I have brought them back from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations. |

39:27
When I have brought them againººº
fromº
the people,º
and gatheredºº
them out of their enemies'ºº
lands,ºº
and am sanctifiedºº
in them in the sightº
of manyº
nations;º |

39:28
And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them unto their own land; and I will leave none of them any more there; |

Then shall they knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am] the LORDº
their God,º
which caused them to be led into captivityºº
amongº
the heathen:º
but I have gatheredºº
them untoº
their own land,º
and have leftºº
noneº
ofº
them any moreº
there.º |

39:29
neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah. |

39:29
Neitherº
will I hideºº
my faceº

fromº
them: forº
I have poured outººº
my spiritº
uponº
the houseº
of Israel,º
saithºº
the Lordº
