 4:1 ¶ But in the lastº daysº it shall come to pass,º [that] the mountainº of the houseº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº shall beº establishedºº in the topº of the mountains,º and itº shall be exaltedºº above the hills;ºº and peopleº shall flowºº untoº it.

 4:1 ¶ But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

 4:2 And manyº nationsº shall come,ºº and say,ºº Come,ººº and let us go upºº toº the mountainº of Yähwè יָהוֶה,º and toº the houseº of the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב;º and he will teachºº us of his ways,ºº and we will walkººº in his paths:º forº the lawº shall go forthºº of Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן,ºº and the wordº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº from Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.ºº

 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Yaaqov; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Tziyyon, and the word of Yahweh from Yerushalaim.

 4:3 ¶ And he shall judgeºº amongº manyº people,º and rebukeºº strongº nationsº afar off;ºº and they shall beatºº their swordsº into plowshares,º and their spearsº into pruninghooks:º nationº shall notº lift upºº a swordº againstº nation,º neitherº shall they learnºº warº any more.º

 4:3 ¶ And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

 4:4 But they shall sitºº every manº underº his vineº and underº his fig tree;º and noneº shall make [them] afraid:ºº forº the mouthº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº Xævä´ô± צְבָאוֹתº hath spokenºº [it].

 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh Tzevaoth hath spoken [it].

 4:5 Forº allº peopleº will walkººº every oneº in the nameº of his ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,º and weº will walkººº in the nameº of Yähwè יָהוֶהº our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִיםº for everº and ever.º

 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his elohim, and we will walk in the name of Yahweh our Elohim for ever and ever.

 4:6 In thatº day,º saithºº Yähwè יָהוֶה,º will I assembleºº her that halteth,ºº and I will gatherºº her that is driven out,ºº and her thatº I have afflicted;ºº

 4:6 In that day, saith Yahweh, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

 4:7 And I will makeººº her that haltedºº a remnant,º and her that was cast far offºº a strongº nation:º and Yähwè יָהוֶהº shall reignºº overº them in mountº Xiyyôn צִיּוֹןº from henceforth,ºº even forº ever.ºº

 4:7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh shall reign over them in mount Tziyyon from henceforth, even for ever.

 4:8 ¶ And thou,º O towerº of the flock,ººº the strong holdº of the daughterº of Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן,º untoº thee shall it come,ºº even the firstº dominion;º the kingdomº shall comeºº to the daughterº of Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.º

 4:8 ¶ And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Tziyyon, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Yerushalaim.

 4:9 Nowº whyº dost thou cryºº outº aloud?º [is there] noº kingº in thee? is thy counsellorºº perished?ºº forº pangsº have takenºº thee as a woman in travail.ºº

 4:9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? [is there] no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

 4:10 Be in pain,ºº and labour to bring forth,ºº O daughterº of Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן,º like a woman in travail:ºº forº nowº shalt thou go forthºº out of the city,ºº and thou shalt dwellºº in the field,º and thou shalt goºº [even] toº Bävel בָּבֶל;º thereº shalt thou be delivered;ºº thereº Yähwè יָהוֶהº shall redeemºº thee from the handºº of thine enemies.ºº

 4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Tziyyon, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go [even] to Bavel; there shalt thou be delivered; there Yahweh shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

 4:11 ¶ Nowº also manyº nationsº are gatheredºº againstº thee, that say,ºº Let her be defiled,ºº and let our eyeº lookºº upon Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן.º

 4:11 ¶ Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Tziyyon.

 4:12 But theyº knowºº notº the thoughtsº of Yähwè יָהוֶה,º neitherº understandºº they his counsel:º forº he shall gatherºº them as the sheavesº into the floor.º

 4:12 But they know not the thoughts of Yahweh, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

 4:13 Ariseºº and thresh,ºº O daughterº of Xiyyôn צִיּוֹן:º forº I will makeºº thine hornº iron,º and I will makeºº thy hoofsº brass:º and thou shalt beat in piecesºº manyº people:º and I will consecrateºº their gainº unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,º and their substanceº unto ´Áðôn אֲדוֹןº of the wholeº earth.º

 4:13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Tziyyon: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto Yahweh, and their substance unto Adon of the whole earth.
