 16:1 ¶ And the lot 1486 of the children 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 fell 3318 z8799 from Yardën יַרדֵּן 3383 x4480 by Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ, 3405 unto the water 4325 of Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ 3405 on the east, 4217 to the wilderness 4057 that goeth up 5927 z8802 from Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ 3405 x4480 throughout mount 2022 Bêŧ ´Ël בֵּית־אֵל, 1008

וְיָצָא מִבֵּית־אֵל לוּזָה וְעָבַר אֶל־גְּבוּל הָאַרְכִּי עֲטָרוֹת

 16:2 w'yätzä miBëyt-ël lûzäh w'ävar el-G'vûl häar'Kiy áţärôt

 16:2 And goeth out 3318 z8804 from Bêŧ ´Ël בֵּית־אֵל 1008 x4480 to Lûz לוּז, 3870 and passeth along 5674 z8804 unto x413 the borders 1366 of ´Arcî אַרכִּי 757 to `Áţärôŧ עֲטָרוֹת, 5852

וְיָרַד־יָמָּה אֶל־גְּבוּל הַיַּפְלֵטִי עַד גְּבוּל בֵּית־חוֹרֹן תַּחְתּוֹן וְעַד־גָּזֶר וְהָיוּ *תֹצְאֹתוֹ [תֹצְאֹתָיו] יָמָּה

 16:3 w'yärad-yäMäh el-G'vûl haYaf'lëţiy ad G'vûl Bëyt-chôron Tach'Tôn w'ad-Gäzer w'häyû *totz'otô [totz'otäyw] yäMäh

 16:3 And goeth down 3381 z8804 westward 3220 to x413 the coast 1366 of Yaflëţî יַפלֵטִי, 3311 unto x5704 the coast 1366 of Bêŧ Çôrôn בֵּית־חוֹרוֹן 1032 the nether, 8481 and to x5704 Gezer גֶּזֶר: 1507 and the goings out 8444 thereof are x1961 at the sea. 3220

וַיִּנְחֲלוּ בְנֵי־יוֹסֵף מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרָיִם

 16:4 waYin'chálû v'nëy-yôšëf m'naSHeh w'ef'räyim

 16:4 So the children 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 and ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם, 669 took their inheritance. 5157 z8799

וַיְהִי גְּבוּל בְּנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַחֲלָתָם מִזְרָחָה עַטְרוֹת אַדָּר עַד־בֵּית חוֹרֹן עֶלְיוֹן

 16:5 ¶ And the border 1366 of the children 1121 of ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 according to their families 4940 was x1961 [thus]: even the border 1366 of their inheritance 5159 on the east x4217 side y4217 was x1961 `Aţrôŧ ´Addär עַטרוֹת־אַדָּר, 5853 unto x5704 Bêŧ Çôrôn בֵּית־חוֹרוֹן 1032 the upper; 5945

וְיָצָא הַגְּבוּל הַיָּמָּה הַמִּכְמְתָת מִצָּפוֹן וְנָסַב הַגְּבוּל מִזְרָחָה תַּאֲנַת שִׁלֹה וְעָבַר אוֹתוֹ מִמִּזְרַח יָנוֹחָה

 16:6 w'yätzä haG'vûl haYäMäh haMikh'm'tät miTZäfôn w'näšav haG'vûl miz'rächäh Taánat shiloh w'ävar ôtô miMiz'rach yänôchäh

 16:6 And the border 1366 went out 3318 z8804 toward the sea 3220 to Miȼmæŧäŧ מִכמְתָת 4366 on the north side; 6828 x4480 and the border 1366 went about 5437 z8738 eastward 4217 unto Ta´ánaŧ Šilò תַּאֲנַת־שִׁלֹה, 8387 and passed y5674 z8804 by x5674 it on the east 4217 x4480 to Yänôçà יָנוֹחָה; 3239

וְיָרַד מִיָּנוֹחָה עֲטָרוֹת וְנַעֲרָתָה וּפָגַע בִּירִיחוֹ וְיָצָא הַיַּרְדֵּן

 16:7 w'yärad miYänôchäh áţärôt w'naárätäh ûfäga Biyriychô w'yätzä haYar'Dën

 16:7 And it went down 3381 z8804 from Yänôçà יָנוֹחָה 3239 x4480 to `Áţärôŧ עֲטָרוֹת, 5852 and to Na`áräŧ נַעֲרָת, 5292 and came 6293 z8804 to Yærîçô יְרִיחוֹ, 3405 and went out 3318 z8804 at Yardën יַרדֵּן. 3383

מִתַּפּוּחַ יֵלֵךְ הַגְּבוּל יָמָּה נַחַל קָנָה וְהָיוּ תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי־אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם

 16:8 miTaPûªch yëlëkh' haG'vûl yäMäh nachal qänäh w'häyû totz'otäyw haYäMäh zot nachálat maŢëh v'nëy-ef'rayim l'mish'P'chotäm

 16:8 The border 1366 went out y3212 z8799 x1980 from Tappûåç תַּפּוּחַ 8599 x4480 westward 3220 unto the river 5158 Känà קָנָה; 7071 and the goings out 8444 thereof were x1961 at the sea. 3220 This x2063 [is] the inheritance 5159 of the tribe 4294 of the children 1121 of ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 by their families. 4940

וְהֶעָרִים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת לִבְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם בְּתוֹךְ נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁה כָּל־הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן

 16:9 w'heäriym haMiv'Dälôt liv'nëy ef'rayim B'tôkh' nachálat B'nëy-m'naSHeh Käl-heäriym w'chatz'rëyhen

 16:9 And the separate 3995 cities 5892 for the children 1121 of ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 [were] among 8432 the inheritance 5159 of the children 1121 of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה, 4519 all x3605 the cities 5892 with their villages. 2691

וְלֹא הוֹרִישׁוּ אֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִי הַיּוֹשֵׁב בְּגָזֶר וַיֵּשֶׁב הַכְּנַעֲנִי בְּקֶרֶב אֶפְרַיִם עַד־הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וַיְהִי לְמַס־עֹבֵד פ

 16:10 w'lo hôriyshû et-haK'naániy haYôshëv B'gäzer waYëshev haK'naániy B'qerev ef'rayim ad-haYôm haZeh way'hiy l'maš-ovëd f

 16:10 And they drave not out 3423 z8689 x3808 x853 the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים 3669 that dwelt 3427 z8802 in Gezer גֶּזֶר: 1507 but the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים 3669 dwell 3427 z8799 among 7130 the ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 unto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117 and serve 5647 z8802 under tribute. 4522
