וַיְהִי גְבוּל־מְנַשֶּׁה מֵאָשֵׁר הַמִּכְמְתָת אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי שְׁכֶם וְהָלַךְ הַגְּבוּל אֶל־הַיָּמִין אֶל־יֹשְׁבֵי עֵין תַּפּוּחַ

וְיָרַד הַגְּבוּל נַחַל קָנָה נֶגְבָּה לַנַּחַל עָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לְאֶפְרַיִם בְּתוֹךְ עָרֵי מְנַשֶּׁה וּגְבוּל מְנַשֶּׁה מִצְּפוֹן לַנַּחַל וַיְהִי תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה

וְלֹא יָכְלוּ בְּנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה לְהוֹרִישׁ אֶת־הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וַיּוֹאֶל הַכְּנַעֲנִי לָשֶׁבֶת בָּאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת

 17:16 And the children 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 said, 559 z8799 The hill 2022 is not x3808 enough 4672 z8735 for us: and all x3605 the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים 3669 that dwell 3427 z8802 in the land 776 of the valley 6010 have chariots 7393 of iron, 1270 [both they] who x834 [are] of Bêŧ Šæ´än בֵּית־שְׁאָן 1052 and her towns, 1323 and [they] who x834 [are] of the valley 6010 of Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל. 3157

 17:17 And Yæhôšuå` יְהוֹשֻׁעַ 3091 spake 559 z8799 unto x413 the house 1004 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 [even] to ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 and to Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה, 4519 saying, 559 z8800 Thou x859 [art] a great 7227 people, 5971 and hast great 1419 power: 3581 thou shalt not x3808 have x1961 one 259 lot 1486 [only]:

כִּי הַר יִהְיֶה־לָּךְ כִּי־יַעַר הוּא וּבֵרֵאתוֹ וְהָיָה לְךָ תֹּצְאֹתָיו כִּי־תוֹרִישׁ אֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִי כִּי רֶכֶב בַּרְזֶל לוֹ כִּי חָזָק הוּא פ
