 2:1 ¶
And if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice. |
|
 2:1 ¶
And whenº
anyº
will offerºº
a meatº
offeringº
unto Yahweh,º
his offeringº
shall beº
[of] fine flour;º
and he shall pourºº
oilº
uponº
it, and putºº
frankincenseº
thereon:º |
 2:2
And he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: [it is] a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savour to the Lord. |
 2:2
And he shall bringºº
it toº
Aaron'sº
sonsº
the priests:º
and he shall takeºº
thereoutºº
his handfulºº
of the flourºº
thereof, and of the oilºº
thereof, withº
allº
the frankincenseº
thereof; and the priestº
shall burnººº
the memorialº
of it upon the altar,º
[to be] an offering made by fire,º
of a sweetº
savourº
unto Yahweh:º |
 2:3
And the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord. |
 2:3
And the remnantºº
ofº
the meat offeringº
[shall be] Aaron'sº
and his sons':º
[it is] a thing mostº
holyº
of the offeringsºº
of Yahwehº
made by fire.ººº |
 2:4 ¶
And if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, [he shall bring] unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil. |
 2:4 ¶
And ifº
thou bringºº
an oblationº
of a meat offeringº
bakenº
in the oven,º
[it shall be] unleavenedº
cakesº
of fine flourº
mingledºº
with oil,º
or unleavenedº
wafersº
anointedºº
with oil.º |
 2:5 ¶
And if thy gift [be] a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened [offerings]. |
 2:5 ¶
And ifº
thy oblationº
[be] a meat offeringº
[baken] inº
a pan,º
it shall beº
[of] fine flourº
unleavened,º
mingledºº
with oil.º |
 2:6
And thou shalt break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord. |
 2:6
Thou shalt partºº
it in pieces,º
and pourºº
oilº
thereon:º
itº
[is] a meat offering.º |
 2:7 ¶
And if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. |
 2:7 ¶
And ifº
thy oblationº
[be] a meat offeringº
[baken] in the fryingpan,º
it shall be madeºº
[of] fine flourº
with oil.º |
 2:8
And he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest. |
 2:8
And thou shalt bringººº
the meat offeringº
thatº
is madeºº
of these thingsºº
unto Yahweh:º
and when it is presentedºº
untoº
the priest,º
he shall bringºº
it untoº
the altar.º |
 2:9
And the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord. |
 2:9
And the priestº
shall takeºº
fromº
the meat offeringºº
a memorialº
thereof, and shall burnºº
[it] upon the altar:º
[it is] an offering made by fire,º
of a sweetº
savourº
unto Yahweh.º |
 2:10
And that which is left of the sacrifice [shall be] for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt-offerings of the Lord. |
 2:10
And that which is leftºº
ofº
the meat offeringº
[shall be] Aaron'sº
and his sons':º
[it is] a thing mostº
holyº
of the offeringsºº
of Yahwehº
made by fire.ººº |
 2:11
Ye shall not leaven any sacrifice which ye shall bring to the Lord; for [as to] any leaven, or any honey, ye shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord. |
 2:11
Noºº
meat offering,º
whichº
ye shall bringºº
unto Yahweh,º
shall be madeºº
with leaven:º
forº
ye shall burnºº
noºº
leaven,º
nor anyº
honey,º
in any offeringºº
of Yahwehº
made by fire.ºº |
 2:12 ¶
Ye shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord. |
 2:12 ¶
As for the oblationº
of the firstfruits,º
ye shall offerºº
them unto Yahweh:º
but they shall notº
be burntºº
onº
the altarº
for a sweetº
savour.º |
 2:13
And every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours ye shall offer salt to the Lord your God. |
 2:13
And everyº
oblationº
of thy meat offeringº
shalt thou seasonºº
with salt;º
neitherº
shalt thou suffer the saltº
of the covenantº
of thy Elohimº
to be lackingºº
fromºº
thy meat offering:º
withº
allº
thine offeringsº
thou shalt offerºº
salt.º |
 2:14
And if thou wouldest offer a sacrifice of first-fruits to the Lord, [it shall be] new grains ground [and] roasted for the Lord; so shalt thou bring the sacrifice of the first-fruits. |
 2:14
And ifº
thou offerºº
a meat offeringº
of thy firstfruitsº
unto Yahweh,º
thou shalt offerººº
for the meat offeringº
of thy firstfruitsº
green earsº
of cornº
driedºº
by the fire,º
[even] corn beatenº
out of full ears.º |
 2:15
And thou shalt pour oil upon it, and shalt put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice. |
 2:15
And thou shalt putºº
oilº
uponº
it, and layºº
frankincenseº
thereon:º
itº
[is] a meat offering.º |
 2:16
And the priest shall offer the memorial of it [taken] from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord. |
 2:16
And the priestº
shall burnººº
the memorialº
of it, [part] of the beaten cornºº
thereof, and [part] of the oilºº
thereof, withº
allº
the frankincenseº
thereof: [it is] an offering made by fireº
unto Yahweh.º |
