 6:1 ¶ And the Lord spoke to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, saying,

 6:1 ¶ And Yahwehº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 6:2 The soul which shall have sinned, and willfully overlooked the commandments of the Lord, and shall have dealt falsely in the affairs of his neighbour in the matter of a deposit, or concerning fellowship, or concerning plunder, or has in anything wronged his neighbour,

 6:2 Ifº a soulº sin,ºº and commitºº a trespassº against Yahweh,º and lieºº unto his neighbourº in that which was deliveredº him to keep,º orº in fellowship,ºº orº in a thing taken away by violence,º orº hath deceivedººº his neighbour;º

 6:3 or has found that which was lost, and shall have lied concerning it, and shall have sworn unjustly concerning [any] one of all the things, whatsoever a man may do, so as to sin hereby;

 6:3 Orº have foundºº that which was lost,º and liethºº concerning it, and swearethºº falsely;ºº inº anyº of allºº these thatº a manº doeth,ºº sinningºº therein:º

 6:4 it shall come to pass, whensoever he shall have sinned, and transgressed, that he shall restore the plunder which he has seized, or [redress] the injury which he has committed, or restore the deposit which was entrusted to him, or the lost article which he has found of any kind, about which he swore unjustly, he shall even restore it in full; and he shall add to it a fifth part besides; he shall restore it to him whose it is in the day in which he happens to be convicted.

 6:4 Then it shall be,º becauseº he hath sinned,ºº and is guilty,ºº that he shall restoreººº thatº whichº he took violently away,ºº orºº the thingº whichº he hath deceitfully gotten,ºº orºº thatº whichº was deliveredºº him to keep,ººº orºº the lost thingº whichº he found,ºº

 6:5 And he shall bring to the Lord for his trespass, a ram of the flock, without blemish, of value to the amount of the thing in which he trespassed.

 6:5 Orº all thatºº about whichº he hath swornººº falsely;º he shall even restoreºº it in the principal,º and shall addºº the fifth partº moreºº thereto,º [and] giveºº it unto him to whomº itº appertaineth, in the dayºº of his trespass offering.º

 6:6 And the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of all the things which he did and trespassed in it.

 6:6 And he shall bringºº his trespass offeringº unto Yahweh,º a ramº without blemishº out ofº the flock,º with thy estimation,º for a trespass offering,º untoº the priest:º

 6:7 And the Lord spoke to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, saying,

 6:7 And the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him beforeº Yahweh:º and it shall be forgivenºº him forº any thingº of allºº thatº he hath doneºº in trespassingº therein.

 6:8 ¶ Charge Aaron and his sons, saying,

 6:8 ¶ And Yahwehº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 6:9 This [is] the law of whole-burnt-offering; this is the whole-burnt-offering in its burning on the altar all the night till the morning; and the fire of the altar shall burn on it, it shall not be put out.

 6:9 Commandººº Aaronº and his sons,º saying,ºº Thisº [is] the lawº of the burnt offering:º Itº [is] the burnt offering,º because ofº the burningº uponº the altarº allº nightº untoº the morning,º and the fireº of the altarº shall be burningºº in it.

 6:10 And the priest shall put on the linen tunic, and he shall put the linen drawers on his body; and shall take away that which has been thoroughly burnt, which the fire shall have consumed, even the whole-burnt-offering from the altar, and he shall put it near the altar.

 6:10 And the priestº shall putºº onº his linenº garment,º and his linenº breechesº shall he putºº uponº his flesh,º and take upººº the ashesº whichº the fireº hath consumedºº withº the burnt offeringº onº the altar,º and he shall putºº them besideº the altar.º

 6:11 And he shall put off his robe, and put on another robe, and he shall take forth the offering that has been burnt without the camp into a clean place.

 6:11 And he shall put offººº his garments,º and put onºº otherº garments,º and carry forthººº the ashesº withoutººº the campº untoº a cleanº place.º

 6:12 And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, and shall not be extinguished; and the priest shall burn on it wood every morning, and shall heap on it the whole-burnt-offering, and shall lay on it the fat of the peace-offering.

 6:12 And the fireº uponº the altarº shall be burningºº in it; it shall notº be put out:ºº and the priestº shall burnºº woodº onº it every morning,º and layº the burnt offeringº in orderºº uponº it; and he shall burnºº thereonº the fatº of the peace offerings.º

 6:13 And the fire shall always burn on the altar; it shall not be extinguished.

 6:13 The fireº shall everº be burningºº uponº the altar;º it shall neverº go out.ºº

 6:14 ¶ This is the law of the sacrifice, which the sons of Aaron shall bring near before the Lord, before the altar.

 6:14 ¶ And thisº [is] the lawº of the meat offering:º the sonsº of Aaronº shall offerºº it beforeº Yahweh,º beforeºº the altar.º

 6:15 And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour of the sacrifice with its oil, and with all its frankincense, which are upon the sacrifice; and he shall offer up on the altar a burnt-offering as a sweet-smelling savour, a memorial of it to the Lord.

 6:15 And he shall takeºº ofº it his handful,º of the flourºº of the meat offering,º and of the oilºº thereof, and allº the frankincenseº whichº [is] uponº the meat offering,º and shall burnºº [it] upon the altarº [for] a sweetº savour,º [even] the memorialº of it, unto Yahweh.º

 6:16 And Aaron and his sons shall eat that which is left of it: it shall be eaten without leaven in a holy place, they shall eat it in the court of the tabernacle of witness.

 6:16 And the remainderºº thereofº shall Aaronº and his sonsº eat:ºº with unleavened breadº shall it be eatenºº in the holyº place;º in the courtº of the tabernacleº of the congregationº they shall eatºº it.

 6:17 It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as a portion to them of the burnt-offerings of the Lord: it is most holy, as the offering for sin, and as the offering for trespass.

 6:17 It shall notº be bakenºº with leaven.º I have givenºº it [unto them for] their portionº of my offerings made by fire;ºº itº [is] mostº holy,º as [is] the sin offering,º and as the trespass offering.º

 6:18 Every male of the priests shall eat it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations of the burnt-offerings of the Lord; whosoever shall touch them shall be hallowed.

 6:18 Allº the malesº among the childrenº of Aaronº shall eatºº of it. [It shall be] a statuteº for everº in your generationsº concerning the offeringsºº of Yahwehº made by fire:ººº every oneº thatº touchethºº them shall be holy.ºº

 6:19 ¶ And the Lord spoke to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, saying,

 6:19 ¶ And Yahwehº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 6:20 This is the gift of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to the Lord in the day in which thou shalt anoint him; the tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sacrifice continually, the half of it in the morning, and the half of it in the evening.

 6:20 Thisº [is] the offeringº of Aaronº and of his sons,º whichº they shall offerºº unto Yahwehº in the dayº when he is anointed;ºº the tenth partº of an ephahº of fine flourº for a meat offeringº perpetual,º halfº of it in the morning,º and halfº thereof at night.º

 6:21 It shall be made with oil in a frying-pan; he shall offer it kneaded [and] in rolls, an offering of fragments, an offering of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

 6:21 Inº a panº it shall be madeºº with oil;º [and when it is] baken,ºº thou shalt bringºº it in:º [and] the bakenº piecesº of the meat offeringº shalt thou offerºº [for] a sweetº savourº unto Yahweh.º

 6:22 The anointed priest who is in his place, [one] of his sons, shall offer it: it is a perpetual statute, it shall all be consumed.

 6:22 And the priestº of his sonsºº that is anointedº in his steadº shall offerºº it: [it is] a statuteº for everº unto Yahweh;º it shall be whollyº burnt.ºº

 6:23 And every sacrifice of a priest shall be thoroughly burnt, and shall not be eaten.

 6:23 For everyº meat offeringº for the priestº shall beº whollyº burnt:º it shall notº be eaten.ºº

 6:24 ¶ And the Lord spoke to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, saying,

 6:24 ¶ And Yahwehº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 6:25 Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin-offering;-- in the place where they slay the whole-burnt-offering, they shall slay the sin-offerings before the Lord: they are most holy.

 6:25 Speakºº untoº Aaronº and toº his sons,º saying,ºº Thisº [is] the lawº of the sin offering:º In the placeº whereº the burnt offeringº is killedºº shall the sin offeringº be killedºº beforeº Yahweh:º itº [is] mostº holy.º

 6:26 The priest that offers it shall eat it: in a holy place it shall be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of witness.

 6:26 The priestº that offereth it for sinººº shall eatºº it: in the holyº placeº shall it be eaten,ºº in the courtº of the tabernacleº of the congregation.º

 6:27 Every one that touches the flesh of it shall be holy, and on whosesoever garment any of its blood shall have been sprinkled, whosoever shall have it sprinkled, shall be washed in the holy place.

 6:27 Whatsoeverºº shall touchºº the fleshº thereof shall be holy:ºº and whenº there is sprinkledºº of the bloodºº thereof uponº any garment,º thou shalt washºº that whereonºº it was sprinkledºº in the holyº place.º

 6:28 And the earthen vessel, in whichsoever it shall have been sodden, shall be broken; and if it shall have been sodden in a brazen vessel, he shall scour it and wash it with water.

 6:28 But the earthenº vesselº whereinº it is soddenºº shall be broken:ºº and ifº it be soddenºº in a brasenº pot,º it shall be both scoured,ºº and rinsedºº in water.º

 6:29 Every male among the priests shall eat it: it is most holy to the Lord.

 6:29 Allº the malesº among the priestsº shall eatºº thereof: itº [is] mostº holy.º

 6:30 And no offerings for sin, of whose blood there shall be brought any into the tabernacle of witness to make atonement in the holy place, shall be eaten: they shall be burned with fire.

 6:30 And noºº sin offering,º whereofº [any] of the bloodºº is broughtºº intoº the tabernacleº of the congregationº to reconcileºº [withal] in the holyº [place], shall be eaten:ºº it shall be burntºº in the fire.º
